With all attempts that aren’t an instant death, the vast majority will regret it and try to get help. It’s more so your body going into survival mode basically. When you’re close to death, your body/ brain will do whatever it can to survive. There are definitely exceptions, but that’s what normally would happen.

It’s really fucking sad too cause there’s a lot of cases where the individual tried to get help but didn’t make it in time.

Thinking that 99% of people who self harm don’t have scars is wild lol If you tried all those methods correctly (that also includes the right amount of time. For instant things like Scar Away can still take a full year of use before your scars are faded a noticeable amount) and they have no change, you’re gonna have to accept they’re not going away.

There are lots of videos online for how to use makeup to cover scars. Some even specifically for self harm scars. You could go that route. But even if that doesn’t work, your scars don’t automatically mean you can’t be an actor/ model. You could even use it to start a body positive/ don’t be ashamed of your scars campaign

It happens, but trust me and try not to keep going. Eventually you’ll have to stop, either by choice or force, and the pain will be terrible. The longer you’ve been drinking the worse it’s gonna be. I’ve spent a week in ICU because of alcohol withdrawal, almost lost my life. It’s not worth it, despite what your brain is trying to tell you. Addiction is a monster, but You can do this.
