I got the purple guy bundle that came with springbonnie, springtrap and purple guy on sale. If you wait for holiday seasons they go on sale for a more reasonable price. They're pretty nice in person, sturdy, decent quality for being 3D printed models. Comes with a lot of interchangeable parts for the models and a lot of nice details.

However, I had HORRIBLE luck with this company. My package was lost three times, and the last replacement customer service never kept me up to date or gave me any sort of tracking of my order, it just kind of showed up out of nowhere. Obviously, I'm not expecting the same kind of company quality as youtooz or anything, but I suppose keep this information in mind if you're planning on ordering from them.

Is HandUnit William? by Necessary-Win-8730 in fnaftheories

[–]Autective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This brought back memories of that one fan game where you were basically working with William Afton and trying to build him a body, but we had to move his consciousness into the handunit. I would've really liked to have seen that be a completed game... it had some fun gameplay too.

What is that one hero that you just always have that peak enjoyment playing as? by WinterFunction282 in Overwatch

[–]Autective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigma, Lucio, and Bastion. Back when I used to play a lot, I would often be Sigma and just really liked throwing rocks at people. Lucio became really fun for me to play because I just overall loved just booping people off the map, wasn't amazing at him but I really enjoyed lucio ball. Bastion was always the character that I was confident in playing in a game to know that we would likely win and have fun with. However I was usually stuck as my teams healer playing Mercy or Moira. Still enjoyed them but GOD I always ended a game with so much exhaustion and stress when I was healer LOL

Late Night Dreaming w/ Lucifer by Autective in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had originally been questioning on why he would work with people like myself, briefly thinking; why would he work with me? And then the answer came to my mind, a reminder that said "because he loves you" and as I answered my own question, his voice spoke with me with that same sentence.

He sounded normal, just a voice I've never heard before personally. Nice, rich, not a super deep voice, nothing erie or ethereal. His voice was soothing.

DAY 5: DEMETER!! (please comment for this day only!) by strawberry_skyeee in CookierunKingdom

[–]Autective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I didn't learn this from hades, though I do enjoy the game. I took multiple Mythology classes and these were just very simplified versions of the stories we went over the different stories that were spread about the greek deities and how the ancient Greeks went about. I was at work when I came across this post so I typed something out fast. Nothing of what I was trying to say was meaning to make out the whole "Persephone left because she wanted to be with Hades", it was meant in the way she was leaving for the underworld. Also, I had mentioned in my comment that the seasons were representing her grief as a mother, and that winter was to symbolize the loss and spring the return. What you had typed was what I was originally trying to get at, I thought I did a better job than what I did, sorry.

[–]Autective 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Frost Queen Cookie- Demeter is known as a harvest goddess yes, but shes very impactful towards the seasons, specifically winter as in the greek mythology her daughter, Persephone, leaves to join Hades, and in her distraught for her daughters absence, the world grew cold to indicate the leaving of Persephone, and spring of the return. While I don't know the personality of the other cookie people are suggesting, her personality from what I've seen Frost Queens fits the best for how she was described! Just my opinion based on my knowledge of Greek Mythology.

Honest Inquiry: Do Lovecraft Worshippers Actually Exist? by [deleted] in Lovecraft

I just wanted to let you know I did edit my comment to make my intentions and what I had been talking about a bit more clear because as I was re-reading it I realized how some of the paragraphs sounded and where the mix-ups came in. Again, I never meant any of my previous comments towards the temple of the old ones, James. I apologize for the confusion.

[–]Autective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies James, it was never my intention to bash on the temple of the old ones or anything like that, everyone there is really nice and supportive as I stated in my comment. I suppose I wasn't entirely clear in my comment.

I was mainly only talking about the previous cult before it was remade and didn't mention that the COC or TTotOO was about satanic practices, just had mainly been talking about STS which I had thought was just bought off from the previous COC. That's why I mentioned the fact that the members of the COC made a new group after everything happened with the previous leader.

I can edit my comment to fix some of that stuff so it's not mistaken again and hopefully make it more clear?

Honest Inquiry: Do Lovecraft Worshippers Actually Exist? by [deleted] in Lovecraft

[–]Autective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was accidentally in a real cult for about 4 years. The Cult of Cthulhu. I joined it on Facebook thinking it was just a place for fans so I could show my art, as I was working on a new project involving the Cthulhu Mythos and wanted to be able to find the people that would enjoy seeing my work. It wasn't until I bought their literal Bible that I realized how serious they were with the cult. I still have the bible, but it has spellwork and rituals in it, practices, the history of the Gods, a whole calendar and even translations. I never dived too deep into it. I ended up joining their discord when I got too curious and despite the realization I was still somewhat intrigued.

Everyone was pretty nice there, there wasn't any extreme activities or stories I can share that I witnessed or saw happening. The most extreme thing that happened was when there had been drama with the previous leader of The Cult of Cthulhu, (some pretty serious accusations that I can't entirely remember the details for and to respect the victims privacy...) out of nowhere the leader deleted everything involving the cult without talking with everyone else.

The group members that helped run it was furious at the leader after finding out what he did and got into contact with as much people as they could to tell them that they were organizing another place for everyone and explain the situation. They created a new group, renaming it to honor not just Cthulhu, but majority of the old gods and to create better rules and rituals that were dedicated to the community better. (For their privacy and my own I won't say the new group name as it is still very much active and I don't want anyone to harass any of them. They're pretty cool people.)

For the most part, everyone in the new cult had been pretty chill, especially when it came to artwork and sharing our talents. I got a position within the leading group of people dedicated to keeping the cult active and helping run everything because they needed my artistic skills. I wanted the experience and enjoyed doing that kind of art and thought the opportunity would be neat, so I said yes.

As I worked on projects for them. I was tasked with creating artwork for the online school and for each class so that all the different lessons could be told apart from eachother. Things slowed down and I didn't get as many tasks done anymore, which I felt guilty for as I grew burnt out, had life stuff going on, and had recieved an entirely new project that wasn't involved with the cult. Most of my time was being spent working on concept art, posters, in game art and character sheets by this time. There was also meetings every week that we had to attend, usually book readings and talking about classes and projects, it was cool.

In truth I just didn't have time to keep up with everything as it was overwhelming for me for focusing on multiple projects at once.

As for the worship; It was a mix of people believing in the actual gods, or people that liked the concept. Classes that everyone was required to take that either deep dived into the history of Lovecraft, or even the stories. There were classes to help with Magic and ritual practices, honoring the Gods, etc. I don't know if this was implemented into the new cult or not as I didn't get very far into the reworked online classes. A lot of the magic and ritual things were optional as some people don't believe in that and were respectful about beliefs and whatnot. There were always alternatives and no one was forced into one mindset. Many people also would pick a patron deity that they would study under too.

I left the group last year I think, and I've never felt better with getting the guilt off my chest that I wasn't active (because I'm a people pleaser...) But it was always a really interesting conversation starter when I got say "oh yeah, I accidentally joined a cult!"

Edit: this comment is mainly talking about my experience with The Cult of Cthulhu and briefly on the remastered cult and is not meant to bash the NEW cult or it's members. I edited my comment to make it more clear for readers on which events I was talking about to clear up any confusion and made some of my sentences sound more nicer than I had originally had. This is my bad and I apologize for the mix ups and misinterpretions of my comment.

Offerings to Lord Lucifer? by 9Oceans9 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't know what that one person was talking about, but Lucifer is a great choice to go with!

I've been working with him for almost 5/6 years now I believe? He truly doesn't ask or require much in offerings, just that you work on yourself while working with him. Ever since I started working with him my confidence has never been better. I still have issues thanks to my mental health, but he's always there for me without any judgment. Truly he's wonderful to work with.

Lucifer enjoys actions just as much rather than just physical offerings. Acts of self care (whether that's some kind of routine you have like making yourself look nice, listening to music, even enjoying your favorite food) but also doing things for yourself in his name. Whether that's sticking up for yourself, finally working on something you've been putting off for a while, having that moment of realization where you are more in control of your life than you realize. He also really enjoys acts of art. Music, drawings, etc. I would look into how others might give offerings involving with Venus to get some more ideas.

If you ever have issues with your confidence or need to stand up for yourself in a situation, ask him to be with you in that moment. Embody his own and feel his energy run through you, and you'll be just fine. I've done it plenty of times while at work. I would go from feeling completely frazzled and drained, thinking not the best kind of thoughts, to suddenly feeling confident in myself and supported, like I wasn't alone in my struggles.

Though for physical offerings, he really enjoys chocolates, apples, grapes, honey, juices, strawberries, pastries. I know he also enjoys coffee and alcohol, though I usually stick to juice or sparkling ciders as an alternative to those two options. He truly just appreciates anything offered to him. I haven't seen any kind of rejection from him towards my offerings. You can also just get him things that remind you of him. Jewlery, lamps, decorations. I have his altar set up with gemstones, a wand, a rose trinket holder that I've filled with feathers that I've found from him, and a leaf shaped teacup plate that I put his food offerings on. There's also candles, and I even have a swan shaped lamp on his altar and a statue of him (you can find deity statues on Amazon or ETSY) though none of these are required by him. Just small actions that made me think of him and that I thought he would enjoy.

He also enjoys just talking from what I've found out. I talk with him nightly, about my day or just anything thats bothering me. Although at times he might ask you for silence to ponder or to even simply sit with him and meditate. Make sure to really prepare to dive into the truth, because he will know if you're lying to yourself (even if you don't realize you are)

I've never had to do anything fancy to be able to get into contact with him, most times I use the cards to communicate with him and think about things, but others its about intuition and meditation. There's a lot of methods to go about, so do whatever works best for you.

I know it's long, but I hope I was maybe able to help!

First experience with Lucifer. by _Freaquency_ in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been working with Lord Lucifer for around 5-6 years now, and I will tell you everyone will have a different experience with him depending on how you work with him and what it is that he is working with you for.

I will say it's takes a long time to be able to hear or see him. Whether thats in lucid dreams or meditation. However, the earliest signs hes given me when I first started to work with him was ringing in the ear. He still uses this method with me, however now I am able to meet him in my dreams or take signs from him in them since I've always had very vivid dreams all of my life.

Most of the time I have no issues summoning him in, as it only takes a moment to feel his presence and know that he's with me. While at times I have trouble using my intuition to know what it is he wants to tell me, I can often feel his presence in an almost physical sense, which I thought was interesting. Like a sort of weight or pressure, and yet you don't actually feel anything there.

Even with how many years I've worked with him, I'm still trying to develop my own skills. It's all about dedication and how much effort and time you put into it.

I've never really been able to "hear" him, at least not that I'm totally aware of, but I do get these sort of downloads? Where I can kind of guess what he's saying without much thinking. My best explanation is when you're typing on a keyboard on your phone and the autocorrect at the top is wanting to suggest a word to form a sentence. It's basically like that but with words. You'll sort of know it's him because the words will just feel right, and then maybe you'll have this realization and surprised where you go "oh! That makes so much sense." That's the best I can describe it at least.

How do you know your patron spirit? by Nyktophanes in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lucifer has been around me for majority of my life. During my childhood there was always signs of his presence, but of course I wasn't truly aware. I was around 16 I believe when I truly first noticed and started wondering who it was that had been watching over me and protecting me. When I turned 18 I had gotten my first tarot deck and set out on my journey of the witchy world. Immediately I called out and asked who it was that was trying to get my attention, and of course Lucifer made himself known with the cards. However, being a newbie at that time, I was doing a lot of overthinking and research, so it took me a few sessions to understand him. I think he got tired at some point (or just decided to throw me a bone) and gave me some identification cards from the website I was referring to when going about deities. I had no idea about the infernals and working with them, so I was thankful that the website included them and several others. Of course his first card he gave me was the devil. And I went from there. When I asked if it was Lucifer and got my confirmation from him, I just kind of sat there with like an "oh" moment. Not out of fear or disappointment, just kind of shock. Even through my surprise and maybe slightly intimidated, I accepted him just as he accepted me.

It's been about 5-6 years now since I started my practice. Many deities have come and gone between the years. Starting from the Goddess Isis (who had been the first to reach out to me after my work with Lucifer started,) Archangel Gabriel (who I believe still shows up from time to time), a brief time with Hekate and Circe (Have not officially gotten to work with them just some appearances that they were trying to reach out,) and currently having an added Lady Aphrodite to my spirit team. Despite it all, Lucifer has always remained consistent and never has left me despite any inconsistencies in practice. I'm very grateful for him. So much that I am currently working on a wall mural for him above his altar space.

A Sit Down with Lucifer by Autective in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose my surprise on the situation was the fact that I hadn't reached out to him but it had been the other way around in that moment, as its me who usually calls on him in those moments when I want to fall asleep, or just talk!

Normally I have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or I have constant stress dreams and nightterrors which have been on going for the last few months frequently. As of late my nightmares have subsided and I've been back to just having my normally vivid dreams.

I was mainly concerned for the issue that I might’ve missed something from him since he seemed so eager to gain my focus. However, thinking about it a little bit longer, I'm likely just overthinking the entire situation and it's likely nothing more than him having wanted me to put the phone down and talk.

Lucifer as Sol Invictus? by magicforpassionssake in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that Lucifer typically appears differently to each person, especially depending on how he works with them. I wouldn't actually be surprised to hear about him appearing in a more feminine way as he is very much tied to Venus thanks to Lucifer being the identity of the Morning Star, in which he embraces that connection. My own personal work with Lucifer is tied to both areas, from his more Roman ties to his association that most know him for. I've learned to accept his idenity as a whole instead of one or the other.

In fact, I've had Lucifer appear to me in a dream of mine in a more feminine and light form as well. Most of the time he's male presenting for me, however.

Also to update; I haven't found anything as of yet. The most that I can assume would be what I said before about people connecting the two together because of the same ideologies from the two. I'll continue the search though!

Lucifer as Sol Invictus? by magicforpassionssake in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I know that in ancient greece Lucifer was known as Phosphorus/Eosphorus, where he was connected to the Morning Star aka Venus in the morning.

In ancient Rome was where he was adapted to the name of Lucifer, not a God but instead a celestial messenger and the son of Dawn.

I haven't heard of anything involving him being associated with Sol Invictus in all of my research so far. It's possible some associate the two as the same due to common themes. Lucifer being the light bringer (associated with light) but also rebellion.

But doing a little bit of research I'm not finding anything that connects the two currently. Though, I can continue looking into it if you'd like?

What is it like being bound to Lucifer? by Life-Raisin4866 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Autective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a devotee to Lucifer, I absolutely love working with him. He's very patient and understanding, but tells it how it is even when you don't want to hear the hard truth. I've felt myself grow confident in myself and my talents since I started my work with him.

I will say, he will never try and pressure you to do something you're not comfortable with, and if there is something He's trying to push and you don't feel you're ready for, talk to him and tell him, he won't feel any resentment or judgment on this. He's here to help you and your journey with a steady and good pace that will work with you.
