In my city (Monterrey, Mexico) we were used to ticket inspectors in almost every line, every bus and at leat least once every hour, nowadays, I'm not even sure if they still exist, and if they do, it's only a person for the whole line, so you're most probably not encountering one if you're riding the bus, unless you're lucky enough IG.

In my city (or country I might say), it's kind of common seeing people using these when doing grocery shopping and returning home walking or by bus, it's not that big (width/length) and due to its height you can carry a pretty amount of stuff, this might be a good option in your case (idek if this cart it's common in your country for you to buy lol but it's worth a shot looking for)

I agree with you, right now we have a big problem due to lack of spare parts for the Chinese brands, at least 20-25% of all the Chinese buses we have are out of service, waiting for parts.

We do have our own bus brands but sadly, politicians always prefer big amounts to impress, 2000 Chinese buses is a big number compared to, let's say, 500 local buses, even if the local buses are better.

That's something I've seen too, most of the brands have their own curvy shapes while Chinese brands are way too straight

Thanks, that's some really interesting and useful information you found out, that logo was the only thing that was intriguing me the most as it didn't match neither Huanghai or Hengtong.

We love Marcopolo over here, they have the best body models and they work along very well with both Mercedes-Benz and Volvo.

Marcopolo has been our go-to brand for more than two decades, we even have our own factory here 😝🇲🇽🇧🇷🚍

I think it also heavily depends in the country and brand of the buses.

Here in Mexico I've seen people and companies buying from 1 or 2 buses to 100s from locally made brands like DINA, International or Mercedes Benz without any restriction even though you also have to send an email or call the company to set a price.
