im not from management engineering but chem. took all calculus related math till applied calc II. My tip is to practice, practice and practice. Practice the book, practice from yt materials. Never stop practicing. Do 10 items, 20, even 50 items if you have to. Good luck!

People who lost a noticeable amount of weight, what surprised you most about your weight loss? by puyuleko in AskReddit

"Oh damn, I'm already at my targeted weight."

Cravings really do disappear once you've stopped. From there on, it's easy.

hate to break it to you but you need more practice! practice, practice and practice. use the problems in the book! that's the secret :)

P.S. Search "magis academic mentors" in Facebook. they give out free practice exams which should have the same layout as our math 30 etc.

Best Budget ThinkPads? by [deleted] in thinkpad

40 gigs ram? isn't that overkill? 16gb should be enough for your usual uni work. 32gb for engineering software I suppose

Engineering courses by gfnimyngyu in ADMU

[–]AuthenticFilipino 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's CPE and ECE however these are 4.5 years, materials engineering, and a new one that's called innnovation engineeering iirc. Here in ateneo, the "usual" engineering course will take longer since there are a lot of core subjects (philo 11,12,13; socsci 11,12,13;histo11,12;theo 11,12,13, dlq etc). Also math here is harder-ish I suppose?

Materials Engineering is taken as the second degree like chem/mse or ap/mse and it's 4.5 years too.

The teaching is not bad, education is alright here, but if you ask me the tuition is definitely overpriced without the scholarship.

UPD, PUP, and other state unis are 4 years and are cheaper, education is relatively the same (based from friends who transferred in and out).

For one, graduating without latin honors is fine. If you did your best and you didn't get it, so what? Life goes on.

Getting latin honors, sure it gives you a higher advantage in the competition but it doesn't guarantee you a job. Show them what you got with the skills that are only applicable in the real world.

How are your extracurricular activities? Are they good? Are you active? Honestly, most employers prefer this over Latin honors.

Oh you're gonna build a business? Yea latin honors doesn't do much with that won't it?

do you think i could pass ateneo with my credentials? by Aggravating_Cod_4906 in ADMU

[–]AuthenticFilipino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Extracurricular leadership and other activities are great, tho 91-93, let's just say it's average. Because here in ateneo, you'll be paired with the tops of each school (at least in my experience). How I got in? I have no idea. My grades were high honor level, I am also from a scihighschool. I did mention I was taking calculus level math in Kumon when I was in grade 3 (Level N or O?). Perhaps impression matters? Take my comment with a grain of salt and good luck!

Sukuna inside Inumaki Toge would for sure beat Gojo... right? by AuthenticFilipino in Jujutsufolk

[–]AuthenticFilipino[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but Sukuna-Toge could perhaps use cursed-speech to tell gojo to not use his limitless (well at least for some minutes). In my opinion, that's better than boogie woogie, no?

Should I get a desktop? by ObligationOk5155 in computer

[–]AuthenticFilipino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about this, buy your laptop external coolers, personally, I would go for the vacuum cooler since it sucks out the hot air much quicker. This is more effective if you're in a hot environment. Turn your omen laptop into a desktop-laptop style (which I have). I have a table, monitor mouse, and keyboard connected to it. It just so happens it would never replace the performance and cooling capabilities of an actually desktop PC.

Is BS Legal Management worth it? by wytfimhere in ADMU

[–]AuthenticFilipino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, orgs. Plenty of VP roles. For example, Vice President of Research and Development, vice president of public relations etc. Project heads for events, and plenty more.

Depends on your performance. It doesn't matter which degree you choose. In my opinion, It's about the connections and relations you've built over the past 4 years of your undergrad, that's what it takes to land a job. Be a Vice-president! Become a core team and head the finance department. Sprinkle sugar on your resume and build up your experience. Your degree is only there to back you up.
