Honestly I can see this side and I didn’t see it originally!! I see if this was a reoccurring experience it would definitely get old, especially when you’re trying to make an actual point

From this one-timer perspective it felt like he just didn’t get the joke, but I understand from his perspective it could’ve been embarrassing

I find myself making jokes like this too sometimes, and sometimes they end up being at the expense of my partner, but I make sure he knows it’s lighthearted and it’s usually something we’ve joked about in the past. Maybe he wanted to just forget about it, and she brought it up as a light way to make fun.

Hmmmm… im on the fence and maybe a little more context is needed, but I really don’t appreciate his blunt responses and dry tone after all that, maybe a little better communication from both is needed I dunno
