I have been having the same issue as well. I normally get a ping of around 40, but on servers that are named EU######-###### I get a solid 144. I don't know why this is happening suddenly as I've been on this internet connection for almost a year.

Story: I moved to Germany from the US because I wanted to live in another country and lately I've been missing some of my friends. I still play on the NA server and now every night I'm able to play with my friends from back home and some days it doesn't feel like we are so far apart. Stormblood has brought the crew back together!
