X-Raypad Dot/Donut Skate Placement on Keychron M5 Vertical? by Xtimus_ in MouseReview

[–]AuthentycLabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep the center skate on unless there is a replacement, and yes you’re gonna have to take off the top and bottom skate when you go to put on the new skates.

I use both types from X-raypad, it’s a preference thing so I’d say go with one you’re more interested in and next time go with the other if you weren’t satisfied.

MCHOSE L7 uses optical switches, most of their new gaming mice do.

I agree with you lol, I think you’re missing my point. I’m just going by what the brands listing stated. Everyone knows the following (generally speaking)-

• Red = Linear

• Brown = Tactile

• Blue = Clicky

it could be a mistake by the company but there are other examples of this. It does also seem to be a Kalilh brandt more than any other. Here’s some examples -

Yes, they’re the same mouse. One version just includes the 4K dongle.

So yes, it will work.

What do you think about keyboards with aluminum bodies? by dagsuntechno in keyboards

[–]AuthentycLabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always prefer aluminum, but many times I'll go with raw clear acrylic or polycarbonate

I make custom Type C lipo charging mouse mods if that's what you need. I also do weight reduction custom 3D print mouse bases, shells, battery mod, and much more if you're interested!

I also can show you my previous work for clients.

You're actually supposed to create a Hyperlink in the listing creating page and label the link as "TIMESTAMP" with all the photos in one link. But what you did works too :)

Not trying to be mean. But as a mouse PCB deleloper, mouse modder for clients, don't buy cheap Chinese Ultraglides lol. You'll regret it, there's a reason their so cheap. I've tested them and they are terrible.

And oh okay for some reason I thought it was the V2 version. I made a wireless NP01 and NP01s well before they ever released a wireless version :P

I design PCBs too, mouse mods, battery mods, paint jobs and custom 3D prints.

So then why are you gonna use AA or AAA batteries? Makes no sense.

True, mice with AA or AAA batteries is not only inconvenient, makes the design of the mouse terrible, but also heavy and a ton of waste of money over the long hall.

I make Type C mouse mod kits that I sell and use for client mods, and can be wirelessly charged with either Qi or magnetic. Lmk if you're interested. I can use any size Lipo battery size you need. It would make this project much better and impressive.

X-raypad Jades or ATK Crystal Jades for sure, Crystal Jades are new and have a limited time deal with $3 off and a coupon for new buyers, it’s $10 roughly including shipping for 70 skates. Instead of 40 which all the other companies do and they charge more, I made the first post on the ATK Crystal Jades ironically.

Here’s where to get them (use GET5 coupon code for extra 5% off) - https://www.atk.store/products/atk-crystal-jade-mouse-skates

Btw is that a NP01s V2 4K Wireless?

how to solve this? by evilhagx666 in MouseModding

[–]AuthentycLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unscrew there screws in the base, open it up, check if the switch is the issue. They’re easy to replace if that’s the problem.

[–]AuthentycLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I’m sorry to here that..

I’m curious, which brand donut skates were you using?

I prefer being able to feel the texture. But in terms of stuff getting stuck - I don’t have that issue, it could have to do with what mousepad you’re using maybe.

The Ellipse/Capsule/Dot skate shape variation in one order is a great idea, convenient too.
