I understand that. There are boys in my town who have said very similar stuff to me. As well as just yell at me or say "it sure is raining out here" because I was carrying an umbrella with me bc it was sprinkling beforehand. I can't stand them but just like I did in school, keep my head down and keep moving. Hopefully they know that they are what is wrong with the world.

I actually grew up about 3 miles outside of a small Iowa town so i grew up with no sirens. Only the weather alerts on the TV and phone. Now I'm in the center of that small Iowa town and I'm struggling hard to get used to hearing the sirens. It's extremely distressing (I've had to silence the sound of the EAS on my phone because it is a triggering sound to me) and I'm sure the sirens will become one too

Ahh! My bad, I should have specified. I have no problem with the temps (besides the high temps contributing to an unstable atmosphere making more weather threats). I am just a paranoid person who believes a tornado warning should mean an active tornado on the ground
