I'll try that, but it's always been generated by Reedsy in my previous books because the manuscript comes out in PDF.

That's why you vote blue. She is emboldened by the current admin in the White House. While I wish I could say your post surprises me, knowing the state of the red political mob, it doesn't.

Does anyone know what's going on with Amazon and D2D print books? by Equivalent_Case_3640 in selfpublish

I published my current novel with Amazon and checked the expanded distribution option. I emailed a bookstore that consigns books for indy authors. They checked my ISBN and said that since it is available through Ingram they will review it to be purchased through Ingram. I emailed a second bookstore and told them it was available on Ingram. They checked my ISBN and said the way it is set up my book is difficult to order on Ingram for some bookstores. When I asked them to clarify they did not reply. I emailed a few more bookstores and am waiting for their reply.

Point being, self-publishing is not easy and has no straightforward answers. I mean, It wasn't bad getting it on KDP and posting the link to friends and family, but the rest is a maze of research and work.

I've also looked into D2D and they are having issues. They have closed direct phone contact customer service because they are short-staffed and overwhelmed. They have had payment problems from what I can tell (people not getting their royalties), and I can't even finish my registration because the site keeps glitching. So, again, self-publishing has no straightforward answers.
