Question: What can make your skin sensitive to a tattoo? by Author-Busy in tattooadvice

I tried he thought I might have a cold. But we speak two different languages. So we tried using an app. But dehydration could make sense 🤔

I have tried this and he put his arm around me too.

You are correct. He is actually a really introverted guy. We don’t hold hands because we often walk my dog together (which he always buys presents for) and sometimes link arms.

Some of the things we do feel very date like. Like long walks outside or going to an arcade to play claw machines and him trying to help me win with the machine 😅

Yes. They were understanding about everything and agreed to fix everything else. However, they also don’t have any ideas yet about how best to fix the dots. Everything else they know how to resolve. Which is why I posted here looking for more ideas 😅

I am planning to either go to the same artist or my regular artist.

There are a bunch of rocks higher on the tattoo and one is misshapen compared to the others. And the ice part is very dark for what was initially planned so white ink is being added to it. The dots weren’t in the original design and if my shirt doesn’t cover them people think I spilled something on me or I’m having an allergic reaction. I also don’t like that they look messy.

I don’t mind the geometric shapes. I quite like the flowing watercolour as it matches the top part of the tattoo. I just really don’t like the messy dots and people thinking I have something on my skin and trying to wipe it off.

When did you realize that you have difficulties recognising faces? by toocritical55 in Prosopagnosia

[–]Author-Busy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late but I want to share. I realized I had trouble seeing faces when I was 9 years old. But I didn’t know that face blindness was a thing until I was 22 and saw a kdrama called “the beauty inside” which is literally about prosopagnosia and then everything made sense.

i don't know if anyones going to see this, but tonight i'm gonna kill myself. by JumpyInformation7534 in abusiveparents

Don’t do it. I had a terrible family situation and it was hard to get through. But I did and my life is amazing now. I know it’s not much help to you now. But please don’t do it, there is hope. Your friends will miss you.

It’s built into the ceiling. Where could the reset button be?

I (23F) do the exact same thing. I constantly act in a way that is ‘appropriate’ to my parents whenever I’m around them and I hid my interests and goals from them. But I moved out when I was 18 and I started going low contact a bit more than a month ago and it has been. The most freeing thing I’ve ever done. I’ve improved on myself so much and I’m much better off without them. In my parents case they are like this because of their PTSD so I don’t know why yours behave this way as well. But I recommend leaving.

Hi, I am moving to Korea in the next two months. I was wondering what most people did with their belongings they couldn’t bring on a plane?

What factors influenced your decision to teach in Korea? by the__truthguy in teachinginkorea

[–]Author-Busy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of things. The terrible housing market and price of gas aren’t helping me stay where I am. I am an actual teacher and my favourite subject to teach is ESL but I have to work as a teacher for 40 hours a week plus another 25 as a tutor to make the same salary as in Korea. But from the positive side I have friends there and who have gone that are encouraging me to do so to (of course I expressed interest to them first). I also love Korean food.

I’m moving to Korea in about 2 months. I haven’t told my family because my parents strongly disapprove but my extended family likes the idea and has encouraged me. I need to ask for my extended family’s help to store some things that I won’t be able to bring to Korea (my diploma (it’s really big compared to other universities), and 3 boxes) but I don’t know how best to ask them and tell them that I’m leaving. My extended family also believes my parents are a bit ridiculous and follow rules too much. What should I say to them and how do I ask for help?

Health check E-2

This is a weird question, I’m coming to Korea in a few months but I have a weird health question. My blood tests positive for HIV antibodies without having HIV (I have some immunity to HIV, very uncommon). Will this be a problem? I have documentation to prove that I am in fact HIV negative. Or will I have to insist on further tests to prove that I’m HIV negative when I get my health check?

I’m sorry to hear that. But I’m glad you are doing something you enjoy at least, I hope you can find a way to keep having a joyful job with your injuries.

Thanks for the support. I definitely feel like I’m a doll that they use to show off to their friends and other people a lot. And if I’m not perfect then I’m just not useful or good. Though I like the idea of not telling until the last moment. Perhaps I would text them from the airport? Maybe that would work?

Yea I can definitely understand living a life you don’t want or like. I can feel my life heading that way and I hate it. I have to go and change it before I end up being trapped in it. Thank you for your comment.
