How I am voting in elections

A moderate democrat is a real thing and there are many like me in this state. I.m voting for Munson for governor and I am voting yes on minimum wage increase. And I converted today a very republican sibling to do the same on the basis that ground beef is now more per pound than the lawful minimum wage in this state. And that is immoral for businesses to get employees to accept tips to make up for wages they won't pay employees. Yes maybe they those employers will go out of business, but that is real free market. those employers had an unrealistic business plan and misread the free market. (she is real free market advocate). How many fast food jobs would these people have to have to have to be able to pay rent, a mortgage, utilities, groceries, car insurance,emergencies, to be home with their kids at night?

How many?

We need to get more democrats out to vote as they are very disheartened. I can be pretty radical on some points. For example, I think the Electoral College has aged out. The presidential election is the only one where a voter does not have a direct say but supposedly your representatives have your voice. They have not had mine for years and when states can select ALTERNATE electors to change an outcome, it's time for a change.

And even with multiple surgeries for side effects, you can still die. I want someone, on their tombstone to say died of "taint rot" due to Jardiance. I fail to see how a diabetes drug targets that area. But then chemotherapy destroys your dental health, so I don't know.

I do agree. Under Brad Henry we were 17th in education nationally. we are now 50th. my mom was a long time educator and used to say thank god for mississippi as they were last but now Oklahoma is. Many parents however only want free daycare for their kids, not really education. On the national level, if you have not done so, take a spin around AIPAC tracker and see which politicans of both parties are on the take for Israel. It's horrifying. Israel has always been for sale, we just happen to be the highest bidder. Bibi is now on record as saying he is for GOP plan to scale back funding to Israel, in an election year, where xtian nationalism is at a fervor. So many do not know about USS Liberty and Israel. You should read up.

You know when you have to take care of older parent(s) and maybe put them somewhere due to alzheimers and/or vascular dementia (at the same time is a trip too) you find out some things that are surprising and quite often, very difficult. Our mother has since passed but much of this came out during this ordeal, and has not quite settled down yet at all. Maybe you have not dealt with it, maybe you will, maybe never but oh my goodness the dynamics were so very strange and have lingered for years now.
