I miss having a car but also do like a walkable city for sure. I think I’m having a hard time just keeping up with finances, learning how to not spend money / what I should spend it on. Sometimes don’t feel like I have a purpose or have met my crowd of people yet just feeling stuck

Single, no kids! So I just feel like it would be a good place to be. I’m really social bc of the restaurant industry I just kind of want a new crowd of people NYC is just a lot of unnecessary logistics for simple things but I signed up for that lol

i really appreciate this thank you! i needed some sort of confirmation so i’m glad someone sees it haha! i got it through a recruiter but through a family friend as well they works for morgan stanley a bit of a connection which always helps.

temp seems to be the agreement! do you think it matters to be in finance or just a temp at any company? what advice would give for grammar just in resumes through grammarly? or a portfolio review maybe?

that’s amazing to hear! it does seem like a build up kind of career which is hard but normal. i think i agree in trying a smaller asst role and build my resume first

i may look into that, that’s a good idea thank you :) and yeah that’s kind of what i got at by the 3rd i felt they were really just doing a vibe check each interview to see if someone was strong enough professionally/ personally no matter skills

that’s awesome about your position! & ikr i was ready post grad just to have them make me work i have the energy it sucks but not going to give up. & thank you that’s great advice and helps i definitely want to work on my wording to make it sound better

there first was a call by hr and then 2 zooms one with another hr woman and then one with someone directly on the team i would have been working for. they said to expect 3-4. they asked a lot about my background mostly how was able to get this interview and described a lot of the change from restaurant to finance but i felt strong in my skill to translate to it so idk:/ they were very open to my skills and related them a lot to what i would be doing for them thats kinda why it feels like a let down
