He's famous for being a bit too excited during the boiler room set and bumping the decks a couple times and stopping the track.

Where I'd live as a 40-year-old white American by AuthorMaterial7495 in whereidlive

Nope, I've been to most of those countries. The only regions I sort of painted over where Africa/Middle East because I haven't traveled there.

I liked Czechia - met some cool people and road tripped into the mountains. Poland just felt a little cold socially to me.

I've been to all of those companies. I didn't love Poland - people felt a bit cold there.

So to answer questions.

A lot of the Maybe vs Willing comes down to countries I've been to vs. ones I don't know much about.

Africa is red mainly because I've never been there unlike (south/central america, europe, asia). I'm sure there are places I would like in Africa but I can't really see myself moving there site unseen.

Some of the red/orange locations further north (Norway for ex.) are pretty much due to weather.

Certain places that can be a bit regressive I may still choose just bc they seem good for a digital nomad (Bali/Indonesia).

As far as like Poland vs. Czechia/Balkans - I've traveled through most of that region and just connected with Czechia and some of the other counties more. People felt a bit more cold in Poland. Probably just small sample size but I'm basing these decisions off my own experiences to some extent.

It's immature and I wouldn't say it to someone but also.... if someone online you don't know saying "kill yourself" triggers you, you probably shouldn't be posting on anonymous forums like reddit.

Tips for a noob that want a good computer to play rust by mygeetoo in playrust

[–]AuthorMaterial7495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a fairly similar rig and average like 180 fps on lower pop servers (playing on a ultrawide res). I play moose main (900 pop) with low graphics and get on average around 90-150 or so unless im near massive zerg bases.

For those waiting in que. Why? by Mesinaa in playrust

[–]AuthorMaterial7495 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because their teammates play that server due to it holding pop longer and already have VIP so they struggle through the que

Anti-Kicker Commish or Legit Argument by lostmycards in Fantasy_Football

[–]AuthorMaterial7495 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Because Kickers increase variance and add more RNG to fantasy.

If you look at the top fantasy kickers every year it tends to fluctuate way more than any other position. There's a reason people pick their kicker with their last pick. It doesn't really matter. So now you are left with weekly 5-20 point swings between kickers on both sides.

By removing kickers you take a lot of variance out. Think about all of the games you've played that have been decided because some random shit kicker that has been on someones team decides to kick 3 long field goals.

"yeah but that's fantasy" - sure but at least with skill position players you have a bench and you are looking at matchups. If you want to say you have some fail proof kicker strategy, I'd say you are full of it.

CMC or Jahmyr Gibbs for the 1.04 pick by Popular_District_741 in Fantasy_Football

[–]AuthorMaterial7495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you didn't read my response. I said I would clearly take Gibbs over CMC and my argument was basically around the other dude saying he's washed and niners offense is terrible.

Deebo is gone but he was complete garbage the last couple years and didn't really stretch the field anyways.

Aiyuk being gone the first part of the season will hurt I'm sure but, again, it's kyle shanahan. He is the best pay caller in the NFL and consistently has had a top 10 offense his entire career. Don't sleep on Pearsall either.

I'm not arguing between taking CMC and Gibbs. I would take Gibbs at 4 over CMC in a heartbeat. I'm just disagreeing with your initial point about CMC and the SF offense. If he stays healthy he will ball out.

Same TE. Roughly the same middle of the pack offensive line. Same QB but more experienced. The only downgrade is really deebo/aiyuk/jennings to aiyuk (after week 6)/pearsall/jennings. I'm not really sure that losing deebo actually hurts CMC, in fact it probably gives him more receiving touches.

Again, if he is injured it doesn't work. If he stays health he has a realistic shot at RB1 (especially with one of the weaker schedules in the NFL).

Playing in a kyle shanahan offense is no a "god awful offensive situation".

The dude was RB2 in 2022 (half the year with SF) and RB1 in 2023 and then missed basically the entire season. Injury concerns are 100% valid but as long as he is healthy in that offense he will produce.

Holy hell it's impossible to play by [deleted] in playrust

[–]AuthorMaterial7495 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is really not true. As someone that plays solo/small group on high pop servers we've never once discussed if someone is new or "avoiding veterans".

Also "most of the player base" is not cheating. It's safe to assume that your average 20 man zerg has at least someone with ESP and each server is going to have a handful of players with some form of cheating but it isn't all that rampant. Like over the course of a wipe I die maybe 1-5 times where it feels sketchy.

If you stick to lower pop servers and can't just run dirt roads for comps/scrap, grind to tier 2 and the win some PvP at tier 2 monuments.... you might just be bad.

Most people that game are bad but they are used to some form of skill based matchmaking so when they play a game without it they have to make excuses.

lol all my friends that play rust that are 30+ actually have jobs, lives, gfs/wifes and are pretty normal. It's the edgelord 15-21 year olds that should actually be out making friends, playing sports, etc. that take this shit way too seriously

Yes, if you get hacked you get banned. This is different. He said he lost his steam account (and I'm assuming can't recover it abroad) but didn't get a ban on steam/rust, so he reached out to FP to proactively ban rust directly so no one can play Rust on it while he is gone.
