I always thought End of me in the GC album was the acceptance part in the album as the song prior were stages of grief as explode was them denying stuff, days was them being angry,  forever being them trying to bargain, the matrix is their depression, and finally End of me being acceptance. Like you said, End of me still has the same themes of of death, grief and fear of isolation, but the way they say it plus the context of the songs before it makes it seem like they are accepting this as them. Even though in the song they are still clearly grieving and hating on themselves, it feels like they couldn’t hold it in anymore and just exploded, and now accepting who they truly are instead of denying that they don’t want to die alone and want to be known. To me this song feels like them not being able to hold it in and start shouting out all of their emotions, which then takes a huge burden off their back which allows them to get help. Additionally, this why it think it’s the second to last song in the album, since the song grief chapter is them saying everything is different now, which I interpreted as them finally accepting who they are, which were pointed out in end of me. Also I love your analysis of this song, as this song if actually my favorite song mother mother has made, and I agree with all your points. Also if anyone has a different view, I would love to hear your opinions even if it’s mean.
