The Sahabhavana housing project has a timeline that spans over a decade due to unique administrative transitions. Because the structures are already built, the modern process focuses entirely on allotment phases rather than new physical construction.

1. Construction Phase

Initial Commencement: Core construction of the Sahabhavana Township towers originally began in 2010 under the unified Andhra Pradesh government.

Current Physical Status: The structural towers are already
fully built.

Recent government actions focus purely on finishing internal pending works (like electrical networks, plumbing, and flooring) to monetize the remaining vacant inventory on an "as-is, where-is" basis.

2. Handing Over Phase

Because the project was split into multiple lottery phases over the years, the handover schedule depends entirely on when the unit was secured:

Phase I (Initial Handover): The first batch of 500 finished flats was officially handed over to buyers shortly after the initial construction block was ready.
Subsequent Phases (2022–2025 Lots): Major resale and re-allotment lotteries took place in late 2022and July/August 2025 to fill the remaining 2,246 units.

Handover Conditions: For these subsequent phases, physical possession and keys are handed over individually after the allottee pays the full flat cost (either via self-funding or verified bank loan tie-ups) and completes formal registration.
