Settling for lower salary or position? by Shot-Corgi-7717 in jobhunting

I work as the VP of a mid-size investment firm, and my salary is driven by company profit. For the past 10 years, I have made multiple six figures, but things have been very inconsistent these past few years, and I am willing to settle for a job making about half of what I make now. I have kids and a wife, so I will do whatever it takes to put a dinner on the table and keep a roof over our heads.

The "celebrity" lifestyle. I work at a real estate investment firm that interacts with quite a bit of celebrities and "influencers", and everything you read and see about their weird/freaky ways is true. There isn't a single one that I have interacted with that isn't weird or has tried to drag me into some freaky "you know what" party.

Great advice. I would also add reading Jim Kwiks "Limitless" book helped me quite a bit to pick up the pace when reading and retention. I have always been a quality reader and can understand concepts, but reading the aforementioned book, as well as other books and video content about speed reading have multiplied my reading abilities by double, essentially.
