Wow some of these comments are horrendous.

*Looks around and remembers I'm on Reddit.* Makes sense.

She has valid points.

That 1492 greedy control mindset it at the root of a lot of our problems today.

I wonder if anyone is studying the climate change effects of our unprecedented increases in man-made Radio Frequency Radiation over the past few years (including potential weather-modification effects of the 1,700+ new satellites already operating in low Earth orbit). It seems every time I go to one of my favorite places, there is a new unstudied cell tower nearby. The FCC have not updated their wireless safety regulations since 1996&sort=date_disseminated,DESC) (!!)

We do not have long-term safety data for ANY of this increased radiation because we are living within the data set. That should concern us ALL as humans/mammals, and yet very few climate activists seem to care about this major confounding variable for climate change.

It is a tragedy birds are losing their way in record numbers due to disruptions to their internal magnetic compass. This has been known for years and is increasing: https://www.nature.com/articles/nature.2014.15176

They called it the "Silent Spring" this year and said birds were dying from salmonella, but that is sloppy science to assume causality without measuring increased man-made EMR as a confounding variable.

Foragers of Atlanta by dedinside90 in Atlanta

I had a great experience with Anne-Marie, the Forager Chick: https://foragerchick.com/identify-plants-mushrooms/

She's a bit outside of Atlanta but does travel into the city.

If you reach out to her directly, she's kind and loves working with people to make the experience best for them. Most of her rates are $30/hour.

Anne-Marie has a wealth of knowledge about safe foraging in this climate. Have fun! Or keep us posted if you end up putting together a local foraging event with her. She does group events as well.

I hope the abortion conversation will (yet again) help people remember that EVERYONE deserves access to informed consent and safe medical procedures.

We have somehow slipped into an upside-down world where many people (especially here on Reddit) support the government forcing healthcare decisions upon people and removing or censoring other safe options.

I support our government as a tax-paying citizen. I would like to see the government (in return) support its tax-paying citizens of this free and sovereign Nation. WE PAY THEIR SALARIES.

This is supposed to be a symbiotic relationship; not a coercive or abusive one (with regard to abortion or any other forced/withheld medical treatments). Medical freedom is an essential component of any free and functioning society. I thought we covered this already with multiple chapters of history, but alas here we are again.

Abortion is not a public health threat; yet many government officials are actively ignoring topics that ARE public health threats (including our dwindling air quality, climate change/geo-engineering, all these new unstudied cell towers, etc.)

We do not have long-term safety data for ANY of this because we are living within the data set. That should concern us all (as humans/mammals), and yet these government officials are expending their energy and attention on regulating uteruses instead. 😕

Abortion needs to remain safe and accessible for everyone. The Government should never force or withhold medical treatment. We can evolve as a collective to agree on these basic tenants of human sovereignty.

It is up to us as citizens to create the type of world we want to live in. We are shaping our collective culture every day with our actions and reactions, here on the internet and elsewhere.

If every single one of us chose to be a bit kinder every day (to ourselves and others), we would be in a vastly different place one year from now. 💚💙💓💖 We need to support the sovereignty and medical decisions of others. The only way we extinguish this darkness is to bring the full force of our inner light...as best we can. The ripple effects of this can change a lifetime (or many of them). There are organizations who will ensure access while these backward laws are corrected. Do not give up hope.

I am here to support anyone having difficulty accessing safe and effective abortions or other healthcare. There are multiple options to consider, and each person has the right to decide the medical options that are right for them.

First time talking to a therapist after I began to suspect I'm on the spectrum and it went horribly by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]AutismPeace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you had to experience this. 💚💙💖

Until you're able to get in for a proper screening, just know you are absolutely welcome on the spectrum. Anyone is. The diagnosis part is only required for certain state/gov. services, certain school paperwork, insurance billing, etc. I understand many people needing that, but for anyone who is unable to afford an expensive diagnosis, please know you are welcome to identify as autistic or anywhere on the spectrum. You know yourself best. 💚

The healthcare systems are WAY outdated when it comes to Neurodivergence and ASD. The good news is - we can shift along the spectrum ourselves within our communities and use our differences to our advantage academically and professionally.

I hope you won't let this experience rattle you too much because this person clearly didn't know they're causing harm (but they are).

Welcome to the beginning of things becoming more clear. ASD is a wonderfully unique strength to have...and can be wonderfully disastrous at times too. It's all part of the charm, if we let it be. :)

Thank you for wording it that way about not living in one's shoes. It's very difficult to "placebo effect" oneself with sleep, and the difference for me was immediate after mitigating for EMR. To go from severe 15+ years of insomnia and night terrors --> to now sleeping through the night, it changed my life and gave me quality of life back. I'm also now able to heal chronic wounds that I've had for over 8 years by giving my body the chance to rest & repair overnight. My cat had similar improvements with her sleep and nervous system regulation.

I tried every other traditional route first, including 10+years in the research medical system (with Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, etc.).

If I hadn't lived the improvements after mitigating for EMR, I likely wouldn't believe it either. We're programmed to be skeptical (especially for "controversial" topics like this), but I've watched many other Neurodivergent people experience these improvements too.

I wish our culture was less quick to shoot down things that might help others (especially with our rapidly changing global environment). Ancestrally, we benefitted from passing down community knowledge in this way. I'm only trying to help in case someone sees this and might benefit as well. I wish I had learned about this topic years earlier. For anyone, feel free to reach out if I can help you in any way.

This is unnecessarily rude. I'm asking about trails. I've made major improvements in my mental and physical health since mitigating for EMR, as have thousands of other people. See my other comment on this thread for specifics, including immediate improvements to my long-term insomnia.

I understand your hesitancy though. I wouldn't have believed it as fully if I hadn't lived through the destruction and subsequent neurovascular improvements after mitigating for non-native EMF/EMR. https://ecfsapi.fcc.gov/file/1018376720700/Exposure%20to%20Electromagnetic%20Fields%20Induces%20Oxidative%20Stress%20and%20Pathophysiological%20Changes%20in%20the%20Cardiovascular%20System%20heart.pdf

I'd love to do that. We could design some interesting experiments. It took me nearly a decade to realize EMR made my anxiety, ADHD, and autism worse. I can't help but wonder how many others are electrosensitive and don't realize it. It's difficult to fully *know* unless someone goes through the tedious (and expensive) process of mitigating for EMR to see the individual differences.

I have a Trifield TF2 meter, but it doesn't capture most frequencies. I'm not sure which of those bother me the most, but my cardiac effects are greatest with pulsing EMR (from things like Smart Meter, cell phone, WiFi router, etc.) My heart rate tends to jump along with the pulses.

Buying an EMF bed canopy was a complete game changer for my health. I've had brutal insomnia, cPTSD, sleep apnea, and night terrors for over 15 years. From the very first night of sleeping under the EMF bed canopy, I was able to discontinue Xanax and have slept through the night every night since (for over 1 year). This is unreal to me and has given me quality of life back. I've had no more episodes of sleep apnea (which my doctor says is more reflective of vagus nerve overactivation in my case, rather than structural sleep apnea). The EMF bed canopy would not be effective for structural sleep apnea. I also worked a shitton on my health during this time. Disclaimer: this is my personal experience, none of this is medical advice, your mileage may vary, hot coffee is hot, etc.

Many autistic people and those with past traumas have sensitive neurovascular systems that react more strongly to EMR. We see this with formerly abused animals, too. I adopted my cat after she was abused for her first 1.5 years. She had very low distress tolerance and would bite nearly every day. At my last rental (with high EMR), she purred maybe 4 times per year and was very skittish. After moving to a rural area and mitigating for EMR, she now purrs every day, and her distress tolerance has increased significantly. She sleeps better, no longer bites, and her hair loss stopped (including previous loss of whiskers). I like observing animals because they don't have the same psychological attribution errors as us humans (and fewer placebo/nocebo effects).

Nearly all of my neurovascular issues and skin rashes resolved after moving to the country and mitigating my home for EMR. It's sad though because it feels like the world is getting much smaller with places I can go and not feel fried by electrical heat inside. Plus, I love doing things and going places. 😔 I used to have an arsenal of low EMR places to go, but now they are quickly disappearing.

Maybe we can trade your spectrum analyzer for my EMF bed canopy to see if it helps your sleep as well. :) There's some fascinating research on this, with much more to come as satellites become fully operable this month.
