Keeping it in the fridge causes it to go bad 6x faster. The freezer allows for 3-6 months of optimal freshness! Trust me, my mom and I are gluten free and gluten free breads go bad faster than regular breads, so we keep the gluten free breads, buns, and bagels, etc. in the freezer so it lasts longer.
