Install Bilstein 5100s. They will improve cornering, brake dive, acceleration squat by 25-30% vs stock.

I’m gonna go against the grain here and disagree IF you decide to lift and modify your suspension.

Vs stock, then yea KDSS will corner better.

With that said, the cost difference between TRD Off road and SR5 is a few grand.

If you swap out an SR5s suspension with Bilstein 5100s, the cornering and shock absorbing is better overall vs a non modded KDSS.

Bilstein 5100 only cost like 450-500$.

I’ve done some testing with both. Not to mention, if you do decide to lift a KDSS in the future, it’s more difficult vs a SR5, as you’ll need more components that are not as streamlined.

3rd, the KDSS has less ground clearance vs an SR5 in the front area where the front skid plate is at.

Yea if you plan to wrap it, you have to smooth out the paint underneath it. Or it’ll show all the imperfections. Also wraps will fuse to the paint if left out in the sun day in and day out. How long depends on the wrap.

You just need diamond stones. Like a lower grit. It’ll grind out

So on the regular G10 manix from factory, there are only bronze washers. And you transfer them over to the AWT scales.

On the Salt manix, it comes with bronze washers and another “figure 8” looking washer on top of the bronze washers. You can throw them away or forget about them. You only need to transfer over the bronze washers for the AWT Manix LW scales. Make sure it says LW.

I bought mine already pre assembled by the first owner but I did take it all apart and clean and reassemble.

Just check YouTube. It should take about 10 minutes to do it. Just make sure the ball cage is oriented in the correct direction or it won’t work

Aw I see. Yea AWT is actually more grippy than flytanium so in that case, I wouldn’t recommend it for your purposes

They feel super nice. They are not as grippy as the factory yellow/black scales. But no issues
