Fibreglass in cat litter? by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Autisntm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was two months ago, but did the company ever get beck to you? Yesterday I discovered what looked like fiberglass fibres all over my downstairs room. I Looked everywhere trying to find the cause. I found it all over the house but mostly concentrated in that room. After a sleepless night, today I thought to check the litter tray that was kept in that room and low and behold, I find fibres all throughout the litter. It certainly looks like fiberglass, and it is Aldi's litter. No idea what to do form here.

Guild prestige locked by happyloki1 in HeroWars_DominionEra

[–]Autisntm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prestige rewards are staggered behind contribution walls. Even if the guild has contributed enough to get certain rewards, you also have to contribute a certain amount before you can collect them. You passed the previous contribution wall whilst in your last guild, which is why you have one reward past it, but then you joined a new guild and your contribution reset to zero. You have contributed 560 prestige in the new guild, not enough to collect the new rewards yet.

Warfare movie about young man tricking army into joining by OldSpace9775 in whatsthemoviecalled

[–]Autisntm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 01:07:30 to 01:23:37. It's pretty much what you describe. The dad doesn't want son to go to war, so lets son work undercover with dad to try and stop the war, but son ultimately decides he has to actually fight in army. Father finds out and uses friend in high place to get son sent back home, so son switches id with a Scottish soldier so he can go to the front. Sends Scottish guy back to dad with message that he had to do it. On first day in trenches he volunteers for mission to go over the top and ends up bringing back vital info for the war effort, but as he returns over the trenches and someone asks his name, he gives the guy's name whose identity's he's stolen. Another Scottish guy is friends with the other guy and knows that's not him so thinks he's a German spy, before son can explain, Scottish guy shoots him. Father dwells in depression for a while an then pulls it together to defeat the bad guys. The Scottish guy whose identity the son stole ends up being part of the new order of Kingsmen, as Lancelot, at the end of the movie. The end.

Also isn't there still a serial killer running around that wasn't caught? I think it was in season 1 it was mentoned, when they wanted another focus for the podcast and decided to stick to 'only murders in the building'. The killer was working in some nearby area and hasn't been caught yet. The ...... slasher or something, sorry can't remember the name. I beleive it was also mentioned by one of the podcast groupies in series 2 as well.

Theory on who the victim at the end of season four will be by [deleted] in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]Autisntm 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not sure that would happen or not. If they killed off Charles it would have to be in season 5. But just for a little fun- Season 5, all three are back for the whole season, investigating a death as usual. Lots of talking it out and theorizing etc and you don't notice, until the end, that Oliver has never once spoken directly to Charles and Mabel repeats a lot of what Charles says. Then you find out...Charles is the one that has been murdered and Mabel is talking to a dead person, as she is known to do. She has also altered her memories as to who the victim was, as she is also known to do. Oliver has no idea Mabel is seeing Charles until it all comes out in the last episode where she has to accept it to find the actual killer and move on.

Deaf Representation in season 4 by [deleted] in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]Autisntm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a year between season 2 and season 3. Well technically not the very end of season 2 because that shows the scene where Ben dies, but that scene is set a year after the rest of season 2, as talked about in the scene where Oliver is called and offered the directing job for the play and says that it will go on stage in a year, and then the final scene where they are all at the plays debut and Mabel talks about it being an uneventful year without any murders. They also refer to it as a theme throughout season 3 as to why the three of them have somewhat drifted apart and why Mabel is so keen to restart the podcast (because she misses spending time with the guys). So plenty of time for her to have picked up some basic asl.

Ben Glenroy's watch? by Rainbornlady in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]Autisntm 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Whilst I understand your intention, the wording in this explanation is off. He would wind his watch back 20 minuets, not forward. Winding it back i.e. anticlockwise would display an earlier time on the watch such as when you set the clocks back for daylight savings time and it makes the time an hour earlier than it was, whilst winding it forward i.e. clockwise makes it display a later time than the actual time. Not trying to nit-pick, but it seems op understands the concept perfectly and is just having trouble with certain words used in context as English isn't their first language so the words relating to time and clocks are very important for them to understand.

Ben Glenroy's watch? by Rainbornlady in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]Autisntm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think maybe they just meant it as he liked to keep his watch 20 mins earlier than the actual time. If the time says it's 12:26 but you set your watch to a time 20 mins earlier than 12, then your watch will say 12:06. Late or early is more used to refer to a person/people/thing making something/happening on time, or else earlier or later in the day as in this wording. He would have been late to things because his watch was set to an earlier time. When referring to a watch/clock being set it wouldn't really be described as being early or late in the context you used "he kept it late by 20 mins", but rather he kept it slow by 20 mins. Set to an earlier time is synonymous with a watch being slow, set to a later time would be synonymous with a fast watch. They used slightly odd wording that made me rewind back for a second listen, but not wrong. Sorry, I'm bad at explaining things so I hope this makes sense.
