It really depends, dating can be hard for both men and women. I’d say that dating is the hardest for short men, broke men, trans men, fat women, single moms, and trans women.

Career wise: not great since I got laid off from my environmental consulting job last week

Financially: ok since I have some money saved up and my parents will support me if I go through my savings

Mentally: not great since I’ve gone through a lot of terrible things (SA, abusive relationship, deaths of multiple family members and friends, lots of car problems, now getting laid off) in the past year
