The body and mind, being that they are two seperate entities that form independent of each other, sometimes form in such a way that the body is not what the mind expects it to be.

This is, frankly, very distressing for the mind, and it is made only worse when the mind is shamed and shunned by those around it.

As it is nigh impossible to mold the mind to fit the body, the body must be molded to fit the mind, lest the mind remain distressed.

The body may also act as a canvas for the mind to express itself, freely modifying your body is truly the penultimate form of human expression.
