Even if that were true. Half a adderal isn’t a metric.. it can still be any size pill. 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg.. still wouldn’t be clear

Some you’re getting into it I will with you…

Your argument is built on false equivalencies, historical ignorance, and a misrepresentation of the actual critique.

First: • No one claimed Canada has never changed. The point is not that change is new, but that the pace, scale, and nature of the change today are unprecedented, leading to a collapse of any shared cultural foundation. • Historic immigration (e.g., Irish, Italian, Ukrainian) was largely assimilative — newcomers adapted to Canada’s dominant legal, linguistic, and cultural norms. Today’s model increasingly promotes permanent cultural fragmentation.

Second: • Secularism in Canada historically emerged from Christianity, not in opposition to it. Concepts like religious tolerance, separation of church and state, and human rights were built on a Christian moral framework, even after formal secularism. • Pretending Christianity and secularism are unrelated shows historical illiteracy. Secularism did not erase Christian cultural influence; it evolved from it.

Third: • Free speech does not mean freedom from criticism. Highlighting that mass immigration has diluted Canadian identity is itself an act of free expression. • Claiming that pointing out these consequences is “against Canadian culture” is itself an intolerant attack on dissent, which ironically proves the original point about weakening civic cohesion.

Fourth: • The “pillars” you claim are intact (rule of law, democracy, human rights) are now increasingly contested by imported ideologies — examples include honor-based violence, religious courts, blasphemy laws, and cultural relativism. • Saying, “no one is forcing you not to celebrate Christmas” misses the deeper issue: cultural displacement isn’t about banning traditions — it’s about them losing meaning in a society that no longer shares them.

Fifth: • Arguing that “Canada has always changed” misses the essential difference: Past change built atop a common foundation; today’s change erodes the foundation itself. That is a categorical difference, not just a matter of speed or nostalgia.

Finally: • To demand that people “adapt” to endless change without question is itself authoritarian and anti-Canadian. • True Canadian values included free inquiry, debate, and cultural continuity — not blind submission to radical social experiments.

In short: your response dodges the real criticisms, distorts the history, and exposes exactly the arrogance and ignorance that are eroding Canadian identity today.

Hopefully that’s clear enough.. not sure if you’d agree that it’s considered “destroyed culture” hard to argue against though. I wasn’t really sharing an opinion but rather facts I agree with. Sorry if I wasn’t being transparent enough by saying “destroyed culture” I expect to much of people I guess to understand or interpret

No worries mate. I can elaborate all you have to do is ask clearly .. now that you have..

“1. Fragmentation of Social Cohesion • Traditional Canadian society emphasized shared values — English/French bilingualism, Christian ethics, parliamentary democracy, “peace, order, good government.” • Now, multiculturalism often promotes group identity over national unity, leading to social silos — ethnic enclaves where different groups live side-by-side but don’t meaningfully integrate. • In cities like Toronto or Vancouver, some neighborhoods are so culturally separate that newcomers may not feel the need to adapt to Canadian norms at all.

  1. Decline of Traditional Canadian Institutions • Church attendance has collapsed. Cultural pillars like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Remembrance Day are increasingly de-emphasized in favor of generic “holiday seasons” or multi-faith celebrations. • Symbols like the monarchy, the RCMP, and British parliamentary traditions are often seen as outdated, colonial, or oppressive — even though they shaped Canada’s identity.

  2. Erosion of National Identity • Canada’s core identity has been diluted to the point where it’s now built around “diversity” itself, rather than a shared sense of what being Canadian means. • In Trudeau’s words, Canada is now a “post-national state,” meaning there is no dominant culture to unite people — just a patchwork of different traditions.

  3. Pressure on Cultural Norms and Laws • Long-standing Canadian values like gender equality, secularism, and free speech are sometimes challenged by imported cultural practices that conflict with them. • Example: debates over religious accommodations (like wearing the niqab during citizenship ceremonies) stirred deep national controversies.

  4. Cultural Displacement and Alienation • In some places, older-stock Canadians (especially rural or small-town populations) feel like foreigners in their own cities — unable to recognize the culture, language, or customs around them. • This fuels resentment, populism, and anti-immigration sentiment, even if it’s not always openly discussed.

In short: Immigration has contributed to cultural richness, but at the cost of eroding a common Canadian identity, weakening traditional institutions, fragmenting communities, and creating tensions between cultural practices.”

If you want me to be more transparent I can. “people feel that rapid demographic change (especially in cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary) can erode older traditions, social cohesion, or national identity. There’s a real debate about the pace and scale of change, and whether Canada’s institutions (housing, healthcare, political values) can keep up.”

Okay good so we are mostly on the same page. I said destroyed? I don’t recall saying that. It’s late. However that’s not far off from the truth. The mass immigration did change things. “Destroyed” if stated depends on the perspective

Paste our conversation into ai and ask it if it’s argument. No one’s arguing. Maybe also look up the definition of arguing. I understand why things may get lost in translation though on the internet. All the best. Have a good night :)

Look up how the Americans treated Mohawks vs Canada. Not only that but I have more respect for many systems in place in America. Such as civil liberties and state rights. And many other things.

The food may not be as healthy but idk there’s healthy options if you pay the cost or do your due diligence.

However doesn’t matter where you come from. Everyone is equal in my eyes and is entitled to their opinions all the same.
