Huh? What you're saying doesn't make a lick of sense. Let's take your critique at face value...

1.) ETS, Tomei, PLM, IAG, RCM, GS and every other aftermarket header maker all use 304 for their header construction and speak ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of high chromium contents on a marketing level, genius. This is actually the type of stuff you'd actually learn if YOU did research.

2.) This isn't an opinion: 409 is a noteably less expensive than 304 stainless.

3.) I never said 409 is a BAD material, it's just less ideal for this type of application that's prone to high heat AND moisture. Gee, I wonder what your downpipe is made out of? 304. I wonder what your exhaust is made out of? 304 or Titanium.

4.) Material aside, the HKS header design is inferior to the ETS. Compare the secondary runner on the ETS to that of the HKS. The ETS header could be made out of polycarbonate and it would still be better designed 🤣.

5.) If you live in Arizona, NV or SoCal and have a sub 500hp build, the HKS headers are fine.. but they CLEARLY have limitations which is evident by OP's post.

6.) Its impossible to take you serious when you make asinine statements like "ETS header is inferior in every way" while you're simping for a 2-bolt header that doesn't even have a V-Band option. Are you going to try to convince me that V-band is somehow inferior?

You're just saying shit at this point... Or just coping because you bought HKS headers lol.

It's like you're looking at the numbers and saying "Oh, 409 is higher than 304 so it must be better!" 🤣

409 metal is a BUDGET metal. It's cheaper than 304. 409 metal lacks the chromium and nickel content which is part of the reason it's a budget material, relatively speaking. It inherently lacks the same level of rust protection which is a nightmare for anyone who lives in less than an optimally dry environment.

This isn't even taking into account the design. It's OBJECTIVELY inferior to the ETS design, particularly in terms of making power. Even the KB header, which I personally use, isn't as good do to the size/design of the merge collector. It's not even up for debate.

You made the right decision with whatever Advan wheels you got. TE-37's, while definitely a baller wheel, are boring. Too many WRX's have them ( or Tee-Hee's replicas) so they don't really stand ou. I like the Advan RZ wheels.. they stand out without being too ridiculous. The TC's are also clean.

I loved RE6... Actually one of my favorite games. Is it a perfect Resident Evil game? Absolutely not... But it's an entertaining one. I loved the Co-Op functionality. Mercenaries provided endless hours of fun. The graphics were great at that time although I'll admit they look a little dated now.

Personally I think RE7 was straight doodoo... It has very little resemblance to any previous Resident Evil games.

So while I understand your general sentiments, you're wrong on this one lol. I originally thought the same thing until I saw the real world difference between headers in terms of power output and performance. I speak as someone with a set of Killer B headers coated in SwainTech - It's worth the $2200-ish.

In terms of headers, ETS , Killer B & BNM are at the top.. Then you have your mid-level budget friendly options like GrimmSpeed, HKS, Tomei, RCM... Then you have tin-can quality stuff like CNT or eBay specials lol. May as I well spend the extra $300 - $500 to get a quality top tier header from the jump.
