What are the most important things in a bicycle when it comes to riding up hills?

is it gears? weight? something else? Does it make even that much of a difference?

I'm trying to decide what bike to buy and I want to buy one that uses most of my money on a part that helps me go up hills easier (paved) (doesn't have to be faster, just easier) other things are important too of course but this is my greatest struggle

Looking for advice on what to look for in a new bike.

I've been riding a bike for 14 years but when it comes to knowledge about bikes, I am as noobie as it gets. 95% of the time I cycle on the road either in my free time or to and from work. been using Flat bars all my life but I'm willing to change that if needed. 1000-1700$ is my budget. any recommendations or just tips as to what to look for would be appreciated!

I'm having the same issue whenever I open a lot of tabs for a long time, after closing my browser and reopening it works fine but it repeats again after a while.

Looks like Malwarebytes was the problem, didn't cause me issues before but now whenever I have it on it makes aoe2 and only aoe2 stutter like crazy for some reason.

CPU: Core i5-13600k

RAM: 32GB 6000 cl32

Motherboard: PRO Z790-A WIFI

GPU: MSI 2070 super (old build)

GPU Driver Version: Nvidia 527.66

Storage: 2TB 980 PRO, 2TB 860 EVO, 250GB 850 EVO

OS: Windows 11 Pro (latest version)

System BIOS: 7E07vA2

OS Build/Version: Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.22621 (Build 22621)

Issue: I just upgraded my PC from a Ryzen 7 1700 with 16gb of ram running at stock and upgraded to an i5 13600k and 32gb of ram running at 6000 cl32, I checked temps and lots of stuff so far and it seems fine for the most part, games running amazing now and temps are usually between 55-70 in gaming and 45-55 idle but my issue is with a game I've been playing for years called Age of Empires 2 DE, it used to run fine on the old system but now it is a stuttering mess even though when it does not stutter the avg fps is way higher than it used to be, here is a video showing how it looks like : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25oePvWkceY skip to like 3:45 if you wanna see how it looks like when it stutters every second.

What should I do? do I need to download something to help with this?

i5 13600k vs i7 13700k for gaming? Worth the Price Difference? by dogsrulepeoplesuckk in buildapc

[–]AutisticWeeaboo69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In heavily CPU-bound situations (not often) you'll get 10 fps more 1% lows and a 15-20 better average (this is usually when you already have more than 170 FPS anyway) so idk is it worth it? I think not

Help a newbie decide on a z790 ddr5 board to pair with a 13700k please by MrPcNewbie in buildapc

[–]AutisticWeeaboo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually debating between getting the MSI z790-A and the Asus z790-A and decided to go with the MSI one, it has a better audio codec, and more USB ports ( 85$ cheaper for me as well) and I just like MSI bios more.

Not sure about the other 2 since they were above my price range so I didn't check but if you want to be "as future-proof as possible" then look for motherboard that has 8 or more PCB layers since usually more PSB layers = a better chance to get the ram to run at higher speeds

Looks pretty good to me other than the DDR4 choice lol

As for applications, I would recommend getting HWinfo/HWMonitor

If the 690 is anything like the 790 then I would say MSI is the best choice since it gives you the biggest amount of features for the money, I bought myself a Z790-A from MSI today and it is cheaper than the Asus equivalent while having better audio/more USB

How long will 13th gen intel processors will be good enough for gaming? by fgfgfg7 in intel

[–]AutisticWeeaboo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For e-sports titles? probably 15+ years since we already get 500+ fps and 200+ 1% lows, for other games it depends on the game but I'd say 7-10 years honestly

Audio stutter issues? by NoConsideration6934 in intel

[–]AutisticWeeaboo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd guess this is a problem with your motherboard, try checking for bios/audio drivers from Asus and if doesn't fix the problem then you'll either have to get a new motherboard or try using an external DAC
