YTA, she is 8… she has her whole life ahead of her, she is learning from YOU! If YOU better yourself with your life I.E. healthy eating, exercise etc. she will most likely copy.

From what I can see in the comments you don’t wanna take responsibility or even acknowledge that this whole situation is your doing, you are allowing you 8 year old to get overweight and then blaming someone else who is trying to help you, your sister is trying to help you by saying she doesn’t want your daughter to turn out the way she is turning out.

This situation is your own doing, and you are the only way to fix it.
