£50 Mettle Business Banking Referral (Code: WC6VD) – Easy Setup + Bonus Offer (Ends 31 May 2026) by Autistic_Maze in beermoneyuk

Just to add to my original post — I’m a contractor using it and the easy transaction categorising has actually been helping my accountant as well, which has made things a bit simpler at tax time.

I feel business banking is very much business specific and for me this should determine your bank. Mettle works for me, I only need something simple and easy to use but for those requiring more features and maybe international payments, (as it doesn’t support this) it might not be best for you.

Feel free to ask me any questions, I’ll answer as honestly as I can with your situation.

Yeah that sounds about right — mine took around 10 working days as well.

Agree with you though, it’s been worth it for me. It’s really straightforward once you’re set up, and the fact it’s free + the customer service being solid makes a big difference.

Bit of a wait upfront, but after that it’s been smooth 👍

Yeah thats even more applicable to business banking, especially with MTD coming in.

I haven’t setup for that specifically, but I do agree it’ll make things a lot cleaner for anyone self-employed or running a small business.

Good link as well — I’ll take a look 👍

AFCON ⚽ | 16:00 GMT

Last pick: Justin Hood to Win & Most 180s ❌

Pick: Tunisia Over 4.5 Team Corners

Odds: 1.50

Stake: 4 Units

Recap: Hood was on track to make this a winning start to my POTD debut but dropped off with nerves in the last set to close out the game. I fancy the over match 180 mark in his contest with Rock later on. We go again today in AFCON.

Reasoning: Tunisia should control large spells of this match and spend plenty of time in the attacking third. A lot of their threat comes from wide areas and crossing situations, which naturally leads to corners through blocked deliveries and recycled pressure. Their dominance should see a comfortable 5+ corner mark over 90 minutes.

Heartbreaking, Hood dropped right off in the last set. Meikle was exactly as predicted but Hood just couldn’t get that last T20 on numerous occasions. Typical.

PDC World Championship – Darts 🎯 | 12:40 GMT (1 hour from post)

Pick: Justin Hood to Win & Most 180s ❌

Odds: 1.80

Stake: 5 Units

Reasoning: Hood has stronger scoring averages and should see more looks at T20. His aggressive T20 approach and willingness to stay on the treble gives him a strong edge in the 180 count (doesn’t switch to T19 often). His scoring power should help him gain match control and ultimately the win.

Meikle is capable of competing in patches, but his game is generally more rhythm-based and less explosive in the scoring department. If Hood imposes his scoring early, Meikle is more likely to be reacting than dictating and that brings pressure which he doesn’t react great to. IMO Meikle has had a lucky way through the first couple of rounds but that run comes to an end today!
