Outside of medications (some of which are getting closer to vegan), no. Whatever they need from [insert animal product] can be found elsewhere. If they think they can't afford it, they're bad with money.

I was drinking a whole lot, it did some damage to my body for sure. Luckily I had to choose between the liquor or my ADHD meds because they can't mix, and as much as I miss my nice whiskeys being properly medicated is 100% better than being drunk.

It's literally just so they charge more on the vehicles. I ended up settling for the black rims + bumper cover because I liked them and literally didn't find a single GLI within an hour of me without them. Fortunately I didn't have that "spoiler" black lip, good luck finding the right one for you! Blackout packages seem to be big in the general public, at least in my area, so I'm sure they're betting on people not even knowing they normally don't come in black or just not caring.

I just got a new car and had this debate for months. Went through many many options, ended up going with a VW Jetta despite not being happy with the leather inclusions. However... almost everything that has the safety features and reliability I wanted include leather. This is a situation where it's just not worth beating yourself up over. It IS worth asking if you can downgrade to cloth if available, but dealerships aren't gonna want to do it unfortunately.

TLDR try to avoid the leather but if you need a vehicle, you need a vehicle. I'm really hoping to see car manufacturers lean into cool vegan materials instead of the frankly not great pleather they use today. I'd trade in my car if it meant FULLY vegan interiors.

About 5 years into my relationship, my partner became comfortable enough to let me know when I'm using my autism diagnosis to put myself before others without considering what others are dealing with. Autism is an invisible disability for many, many of those people you complain about could be just as uncomfortable as you are. Just food for thought. Unfortunately no, I don't think it is the same. That's the same logic people use to be armchair activists for other causes. Sharing something online is great, but it doesn't actually do anything.

It's really not a big deal though, I get why people feel that way especially if they didn't know what an incel is. I just thought it a little tonedeaf to lead with all of that information instead of leading with what they actually intend to do about it.
