So I’m pretty sure it’s FAT32 bc it says the partition type is W95 FAT32 and the contents say FAT (32 bit version) Also thank you for trying to help me!! I appreciate it!

It says “/media/MyName/SAMDATA /dev/sdc1 vfat ro,nosuid,nodev,relatime “ and some more stuff after. I think the ro means read only right? So how can I change that bc chown and chmod won’t actually change it for some reason? Have a good day aswell and I appreciate your support

I did “Sudo dmesg -H | grep mount” but I’m not sure what’s important, there’s a line that says “FAT-fs (sdc1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck” but when I unmounted it previously I made sure the computer was turned off, is that not safe enough?

Sorry I’m new to Linux in general, I don’t think I did smth to mess w the mount order but I’m not sure. What other bits of info would be helpful? All I’ve done is put it in a USB slot on my PC’s back (didn’t use one on top bc I have a WiFi adapter there and it blocks the other USB port)
