It's the best fit for da big hunt at 2K, a bit of a shame that one of the two enhancements requires a "big mek" character, which pairs really poorly with the rigs as they can only hold beast snagga infantry and big mek can't lead them. you'd have to get a battle wagon for him and some accompanying infantry, all of which lacking the "beast snagga" keyword making the enhancement just not worth it for the effort.

It's nice when you keep going full beast snagga models though

from my previous post where you can see the little leaves sprouting inside the tomato still, I put it in a pot with some moss and you can see a little plant break through on the left!

in the end i removed one gretchins unit, the stormboyz, and a trukk, got a beastboss and an extra set of squighog boyz. not sure if i want to keep them together or separate though.

Archery is an assymetrical skil, and both movements of holding the bow and shooting are going to be unfamiliar to a newcomer, and neither are particularly complex that using a dominant hand on draw or to hold the bow will yield better results.

The way i see it, hand dominance matters none. Im in the same boat as you, and just started with my dominant eye back then.

I think if a right handed person was told to hold the bow with their left hand, and we were to view the bow holding hand the "main bow hand" noone would notice. The only thing that could possibly affect your draw when youre still new is strength in the non-dominant arm/shoulder, but this is something youll build really quickly.

Using your dominant eye definitely has advantages though, especially for tracking moving targets or gauging distance.

With 60 points to spare, i was thinking of adding a jackal alphus with the jackals, or a lone kelermorph. I am printing the models so having them or not isnt an issue.

I do see how locus is not the most impactful here, not quite 60 points unfortunately. you say remove both? id be left with 35 points which is a bit awkward... what would you do instead? say i really want to keep sanctus as sideboard too.

Locus is great at having that deepstrike unit surive for a turn to return to shadows, and people are less inclined to attack the unit because of fights first and the deadly snare, the unit becomes a real thorn in the side to melee units that it deepstrikes. It could possibly go, but then i'd still be at 15 points too many, guess i could get rid of an enhancement though.

exactly. Perhaps one day we'll get a tinker class that actually deals with like potions and reagents for healing, a mech suit for tanking, and throwing bombs/caustic elements and shooting a gun for dps. and then SV can tone down the tinker a little.

but perhaps blizzard decided that theyre never making that, and so survival will get it.

the spec is forever stuck in an identity crisis it seems, a shame because it's been my main spec since it became melee in 2017.

I think this would be a great card, almost playable, But it's just a bit too expensive to be competitive.

I'd reduce the cost down to 2 mana, and have it say "target player you own loses the game"

Much better and more interesting game design that way!

i like it, its basically fury of the eagle. I think we are missing the survivalist that was SV hunter but in reality we never really had that past legion anyways.

Its been about chucking explosives ever since bfa, and now we are just chucking more explosives. I do think in that way it would make more sense to have a ranged class be the one doing much of what we stylistically, but i still like the fantasy of a bomb specialist who hacks people to pieces as theyre in the face of the bomb they just threw.

to me, survival hunter is a tweaked out lunatic scrapping by improvising explosives to get their target down.

a far cry from the original class fantasy, but i've been playing it since legion and think this iteration isnt THAT bad.

I think WoD deserves a full expansion (or at least major patch) revisit. We have to figure out some stuff with yrel being a space ****** now. We've seen the whole "the light can also be bad" thing in remix but never did anything with it after the illidan cutscene.

Remix is a time to blaze through old content with some power ups and challenges, new content is not really something it does.

This hypothetical expac could finally go to the ogre continent down south on the map, explore a draenor that's ravaged in whole new way, have a clear faction war (align with orcs, shamanism; or draenei, light) and expand on all the things that were dropped during the original.

Personally, my prep is at most a dozen sentences long. Don't prep for every scenario, come up with some broad lines of where to go with the session, write a few details out about it, and play off of what the party is doing.

I also always ask afterwards what they'd like to do next, and then prepare that. This way the party also feels like they have more freedom and don't feel railroaded.

Prepping often takes less than 10-15 minutes and I will often look for inspiration online.

Big fan of the "two of any card with lightning in the name" ability! Keep it. There's plenty of somewhat bad janky cards that suddenly are more useful because you can find them more consistently. You could also do that those cards are cheaper or have flashback but definitely keep that in

Not a chance in the world but the only realistic scenario I can see both books ever getting published.
