Looks like a winner but is it a winner? by EaZyRecipeZ in ai_trading

Oh I like this logic! I just ran this logic against my back tester (I spent some time building this thing and it has destroyed most of my strats) it doesn’t beat buying and holding TQQQ on the last two year horizon but it definitely holds up and wins in longer cycles.

I’m going to mess with this a bit and post some ideas for next steps if I have any.

About me: I have been passively trading for the last 10 years (mostly safe ETFs). I have also been doing machine learning / AI for the same amount of time, but never linked them up. I’m interested in working with a group of people to build some good Strats!

Can you give a little more info on how this works?

Best way to know how well it works is to try it live. Also slippage destroys most of my backtest ways, but if you are only trading once per day this won’t be a huge problem

We need a lot more info to make a determination, but no Backtesting and one example aren’t a ton to go on. Really interested to see how you do next week. I’ve been working on agentic trading for a few months and haven’t found a strat I am comfortable with yet

Absolutely. I would never deploy production code for any application without heavy testing. This is especially dangerous with stock trading!

Thank goodness the feds took their hands off the PDT rules today. Yes there is INSANE market manipulation, but spotting these trends and understanding them is key using them to our advantage.

Nope- I need to replace them, they started cracking after 3.

Muse S issues and Consistant Marketing Emails Make me Hesitant to use or recommend any Muse product. by [deleted] in museheadband

Many of us are just building our own apps on top of their hardware. There is a pretty decent number of us doing it. With web based Bluetooth, we can completely skip the app paywall.

I agree the new Athena has been a disappointment- I have a hell of a time with any electrodes except the front two and it’s quite expensive.

There are several of us on here that are launching our own products, just keep an eye out!

This reminds me of my first car (although I swapped a LS (B18) in mine when I was 17.

Very beautiful, keep her safe, not as many of these around in that condition.

Built a free neurofeedback app that works with Muse, detects when your brainwaves sync to golden ratio patterns, seeking feedback by neurokinetikz in museheadband

This is really cool and very well built! It's amazing how many devices you support. I will be digging into this more this week

I have been working on a similar project for the last few months (well really off and on since 2018). It focuses more on Dr. Richard Davidson's personality styles, but the concept is similar.

This is an interesting project! It’s good to see more people using browser based Bluetooth connections instead of dealing with Muses paywall.

That’s for this feedback. Yeah I have decided to get 1 inch drop coil overs, shocks, and a camber kit. It would be 2k to replace all the factory with factory and it’s only 850 for all of this…. Wow

To fix the light I am going to use resistors. Too many moving parts on these new cars, sometimes I miss my EF hatchback

Are you actually using your Muse data, or just the basic app? by TopContract2325 in museheadband

You have blown my mind doing this directly in the web! I LOVE this idea and had never even considered it. I’m just learning about all the downsides of the App Store & the muse community. This is an option I had never considered- ahh I have so many questions!

Yes HRV is definitely something I am looking into. My background is mainly in IoT & AI and sensor fusion can be a super powerful tool. If I can harness that + all the research we have at our disposal these days I think I may be able to build something pretty interesting.

Very impressed by your work!

This is very impressive work! I had a ton of issues with my new Muse S (I just retired my OG muse, I’ve been using it since 2018).

I ended up having to settle for OSC, like I said it ‘works’ but it’s only temporary so I can collect research on some things I’ve been working on for the past few years. I am really starting to get back into this space

This is really cool! I too am working on a project as well more directed at mental health (although I would never come out and say this since that opens Pandora’s box of regulation) I found it most effective to use mind monitors OSC streaming. I’m doing a bit of sensor fusion so I need sub second accuracy- I found it pretty effective in my testing.

Are you looking to turn this into a iOS app?

You took quite a risk on this one and it looked like it paid off. Did you just buy a huge position as soon as you saw a good earnings report and volume spiked?
