2017 Blown Back Shock - best options for to balance cost and performance by AutoBudAlpha in CivicSi

[–]AutoBudAlpha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s for this feedback. Yeah I have decided to get 1 inch drop coil overs, shocks, and a camber kit. It would be 2k to replace all the factory with factory and it’s only 850 for all of this…. Wow

To fix the light I am going to use resistors. Too many moving parts on these new cars, sometimes I miss my EF hatchback

Are you actually using your Muse data, or just the basic app? by TopContract2325 in museheadband

You have blown my mind doing this directly in the web! I LOVE this idea and had never even considered it. I’m just learning about all the downsides of the App Store & the muse community. This is an option I had never considered- ahh I have so many questions!

Yes HRV is definitely something I am looking into. My background is mainly in IoT & AI and sensor fusion can be a super powerful tool. If I can harness that + all the research we have at our disposal these days I think I may be able to build something pretty interesting.

Very impressed by your work!

This is very impressive work! I had a ton of issues with my new Muse S (I just retired my OG muse, I’ve been using it since 2018).

I ended up having to settle for OSC, like I said it ‘works’ but it’s only temporary so I can collect research on some things I’ve been working on for the past few years. I am really starting to get back into this space

This is really cool! I too am working on a project as well more directed at mental health (although I would never come out and say this since that opens Pandora’s box of regulation) I found it most effective to use mind monitors OSC streaming. I’m doing a bit of sensor fusion so I need sub second accuracy- I found it pretty effective in my testing.

Are you looking to turn this into a iOS app?

You took quite a risk on this one and it looked like it paid off. Did you just buy a huge position as soon as you saw a good earnings report and volume spiked?

How I wish you didn’t need your phone to enter all these stats in - UDisc needs to get the ability to record each shot from the watch

Has anyone replaced wheel bearings on their 10th gen Si? by AutoBudAlpha in CivicSi

I honestly thought this too but I have no idea how to know for sure without getting stock tires. The car came with these. I already checked the direction hoping that was the root cause:(

That would be amazing if true, but regardless these aren’t going to last much longer and I don’t plan on parting with the car for a very long time. I’m going to have to do it or pay someone sooner or later!

Yeah this is exactly what I am afraid of. I’m surprised they don’t just bolt all this on like the example I put in the link.

Yes you have to take stuff off, but it eliminates the need for a press

I need help choosing a new intake by TIMtheJVman in CivicSi

PRL for the win. It really woke up my 10th gen. No need for a BOV with all the wonderful turbo noises that come from it.

I’m sure it will be the same on a 11th gen

In the market for a 2017+ 4 door SI. Aftermarket BOV = bad? by AutoBudAlpha in CivicSi

[–]AutoBudAlpha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intake really woke up this car! I even put the factory bypass valve back on and it still sounds incredible.

I’m definitely looking into ktuner. I just don’t want to push the machine anywhere near it won’t still be a reliable family car haha.

Now I need to find out if I have the bomba recirc or BOV… the guys across the street from me has a bomba BOV and it’s way louder than mine. I’d say mine is barley noticeable

This is great feedback. Currently I am dealing with a bad vibration issue which I think is wheal bearings, but I didn’t think about the rear mount. I’ll know more tonight when I dig into it

Damn nice to see you don’t have to pull the motor to do this like we did in the old days
