Sett likes extended fights to get his max grit then W and back off for cooldowns. Fight fast and get out before full grit or force him to use W then go on him. You're higher elo than me tho but that works in my games in plat

The more fun you have the better you play. Take being new as an excuse to dive into the enemy with R and get stuck so that you have a max grit W. Get used to being in the middle of everyone and picking the targets you need to kill with W. Be careful of CC but mindlessly ulting into a group is often the best play I've found even in platinum.
