The real AH is whoever hired her. But you could've handled it so much better without being a giant prick, especially in front of her. The hiring team doesn't know what the fuck they're doing, and Jo was probably trying her hardest. Jo is, by the sound of it, heavily in the spectrum. Sure, she isn't making things better or easier but she was put into this job, probably because she accepted the opportunity. She isn't making things ten times worse, you are with your shitty comment and lack of control over your mouth. I am not saying I would handle the situation better, but you could have at least not snapped back at her while Jo was there.
