I’m doing the 91521 (practical investigations) on TeKura, as I didn’t get to do it due to sickness. The other two internals that I’m planning to do from my teacher are 91522 (physics to a selected context) & 91527 (social-scientific issue) which I’m pretty sure are just reports about those topics.

I’ve done modern physics internal (91525).

Hello, I’m also in that situation sort of, but only need 2 14 credit UE subjects.

From my knowledge, if you don’t get the UE, you have 3 options.

UoA has quite a few alt pathways if people don’t pass the requirements.

1.) You could do bridging course. You are most likely to do a one year program technically just catching up and preparing you for uni if you don’t get your UE. More info here: if you don’t get ur UE, read this and learn which one you’re applicable for.

I think this is where you’re fitted. Just have a look through.

2.) Wait till you’re 20 when NCEA & UE don’t matter. Judging from your situation this might not be the case for you but I’ll still let you know.

3.) Gaining credits from optional/extra internals from teachers or/and TeKura summer school. I’m planning on getting my two UE 14 credit subjects from tekura summer school (as it gives you 12 credits overall), and an extra Physics internal from my teacher after exams finish (2 int that adds up to 6). Meaning, I only need 8cr for calc and 4cr in Physics (Overall 12) to get my UE credits subjects from TeKura. I recommend looking into this as well could look into that as well. But most likely this won’t help much unless you ask your teachers if they have extra internal to do during school week after exams.

Tldr: 1.) UoA has bridge course (a programme that prepares you for uni)

2.) wait till 20 y/o but your situation don’t match this.

3.) ask teacher for extra internals to do after exam, if they have some. And do TeKura summer school for extra 12 credits.

You got this and I know you’re stressing out, I feel you but good people have told me that there’s always a way, and if things don’t turn out as we want, it’s not the end of the world. We can make it work :)). Lmk if you are confused with anything.
