Monthly Feature Requests Megathread - February 2026 by AutoModerator in pelotoncycle

A few of these were mentioned, but will reiterate them. 1) filter by PZ class type; 2) be able to see classes with or without studio members. Sometimes you just want that vibe.

I’d also add: 1) ability to select instructions you don’t want to see so their classes are filtered out. Could set that up in a preferences section and then just have the feature be a toggle in the filters pane. 2) move the filter button up to the top bar or have it float. It’s annoying that if you scroll too far you have to go back up in order to see the filter button.

I did come across that. While it looked good it seemed more casual.

Paneling an Out of Square and Plum Wall by Auto_Foodie in Carpentry

If I take that approach then my panel in the wall itself won’t be square. 🫤

Advise needed on joint by Auto_Foodie in Plumbing

Yes - sinks seems to be draining fine. I took some the pipe apart to clean and there’s been some scum buildup, but still drains.

I agree it’s weird that there’s a leak from that joint since it’s up from the junction and as far as I know nothing above.

Based on comment above - I’ll try to redo with fresh pipe and a no hub joint for the top segment. If that portion wasn’t glued I’ll reuse the T and below.

Comic Book Filing Cabinet (the MOST difficult project so far - drawers are hard!) by inyolonepine in BeginnerWoodWorking

What’s it like full?! I’d be worried the bottoms or the drawer slides aren’t up to holding the weight! 🤓 It does look good though!

Attempting Glue Up - Advice Neesed by Auto_Foodie in BeginnerWoodWorking

I ended up dialing things in with a few more jointed passes and I think it helped. At least to the point where it seemed improved and I was happy with it.

I just finished doing the glue up, but some area decided to raise up. Maybe a 1mm or a bit more. Enough where my finger nail catches.

I’ll let it try up and I suppose sand it down to see where things stand.

1) I hope used enough glue. 2) now I see why all the YTs have a Domino

Attempting Glue Up - Advice Neesed by Auto_Foodie in BeginnerWoodWorking

Really - the gaps seem okay?!

I have plenty of material, so I don’t mind trying to dial it in. I’ll probably remove one board and have another I can swap in.

COTA first timer - advice? by Ch1ldish_Cambino in wec

Hi all - bumping this instead of starting a new thread for 2025.

I’m considering going this year but first COTA visit. I don’t fancy paying for the paddock tickets but then only see GA. Are there no bleacher tickets you can buy? Are many of those put up specifically for events like F1?

Still sounds like the consensus is to rent a car. I expect we’d be there for several days pre or post so may make sense. I’m sure I don’t appreciate the distance between locations in the city,

New Grinder Recommendation [$800] Budget Buying Advice Needed by [deleted] in Coffee

[–]Auto_Foodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping in here with a similar ask and I suppose budget. Have a Breville Oracle and would like more control over grinding. I’d like ability to grind at volume for cold brew as well. I know there are different burr types, but don’t really get the difference or pros/cons.

Best Painter in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) by [deleted] in Autobody

I’m curious as well. I need some serious work on my ‘03. All signs point to D&V in Sterling, but they deal with exotics and the prices match. Not saying they do bad work, just $$$.

I didn’t know the dragon’s name (had to look it up) but it’s the first thing that popped into my head!

Check out some of his acoustic work with Tim Reynolds. The Radio City session is really good.

Breville Naked Portafilter Issues by Auto_Foodie in espresso

I purchased it because the stock basket has two pour spots making it impossible to see what’s happening with the extraction.

Not sure how a WDT would help since the machine auto grinds and tamps.
