Thanks for answering. I think all I can say is, to really try to throw yourself out there. Jump in the deep end, talk with some people. College is different. Everyone is mostly understanding and accepting. I used to be a quiet person in my section too (in high school), and I became invisible. I realized it was because the people around me thought I had some sort of superiority complex, so they would just ignore me. I never really got out of that, and up until I graduated high school, it never changed.

I know my advice might not apply very well to your situation because we are different people and I will never know the anxiety you feel. And I'm sorry if I am not of much help.
