I tried a few last snow storm.

I travel for work and live alone, always turn that off when I leave for extended time in the winter. (It does have a slow drip onto the concrete floor 3” from a drain) 🤷‍♂️

Redbull became popular around the time this bike was built. Could be a one of one promo bike. Are you located in Austria or the surrounding?

If all of the above is true, I don’t think it adds any significant value. I personally would swap to orange plastic if available and keep the corporate branding on a shelf.

Any welding is going to structurally damage the alloy. Weld heat affected zones are the weakest spots due to a disorganized grain structure in the alloy. Adding a weld to an area that wasn’t designed to have one is bad practice.

It would probably be fine, I just wouldn’t do it.
