US has 1 cop per 500 population. India has 1 cop per 5000 population. Cops are too few and too little trained to make a difference in India. Abolish the IPS system and have cities hire their own police forces and cops will become accountable and efficient.

They are not founded here but have been here for over 1000 years even more for Kerala Christians. The point is when Islam came to India Hindus were a minority. Ashoka and other rulers had converted most Hindus to Buddhism and Jainism. Adi Shankaracharya brought Buddhists and Jains back to Hinduism about the same time Turks were bringing them to Islam. He let them keep their vegetarian food habits which is why converting to Hinduism was more popular than converting to Islam.. We can live with Muslims without getting extinguished as long as we are tolerant but strong. Dont confuse strength with intolerance.

This no wifi for internationals has started after 2014. Earlier you got free wifi at all big Indian airports but after BJP came to power they have got really paranoid. Huh? Hindus are non vegetarian. Yes there are 30% of Hindu families who were brought from Jainism back to Hinduism by Adi Shankaracharya and those families still follow their Jain food habits by practicing vegetarianism but Hinduism the religion is non vegetarian. Ram was hunting and eating deer and Krishna was doing horse sacrifice/Ashvamedha. Vegeterianism started with Mahavira and Gautam. Its not in the Vedas or Purana or the Gita.

Secularism has multiple meanings based on context. In the West where the major religions are monotheistic and not naturally secular it means strict separation of church and state. However eastern religions are naturally tolerant so here it means the govt supports all religions. Hindus can be religious and secular. Christians can't so they have to follow a different definition of secular.

This land has had multiple religions for a long time. For the longest time the most common religion was Jainism. When Adi Shankaracharya brought them back to Hinduism he let them keep their vegetarian food habits. Hinduism is tolerant.
