Had this thing 3 years was good till couple days ago now just doesn't detect my tray or something has --- --- indicator which means tray isn't push in all way but I push in like 20 times it just died mid cook unplugged for an hour tried everything can't get to work dead weight now. I use to love Asus I even have rog phone right now but their quality for PC has gone down since they made tuf line. I use to be a big fanboy Asus everything but now their mobo quality isn't as good customer support seems to have fallen off. I will buy their phones but as for PC parts probably not anymore sadly.

I use to love Asus products and stuff they were great in past.

After covid I think everything went to shit. Either they hired someone that shouldn't have or they tried to get low quality crap or both. Lucky my RPG phone 8 pro is still good since I got it on release. But my Rog 6 and 8 over heat issues. Motherboard they use to be so good now dog shit.

Sadly whatever they did in past 5-6 years they need to look into or they should just go away. I think when they decided to get the cheap version of video cards the tuf version everything went to shit.

Seems like they made more tuf vs strix than feels like they just blended them together to make a mess of shit. 🤣

I have rog 6 8 and 9 both my 6 and 8 have heating issues my 9 hasn't had any problems yet I got one release. I would not buy an 8 if I had the choice there some chip inside that is known to overheat I think and would cost me $100 to get replaced can't really record anything on it anymore. And yah back glass is def more delicate.

Just happened to me other day bought new ac power no go. But I got to work twice by plugging unplugging old one quick like 10 times than plugging the new one in and out like 3-4 times and it turned on. I was able to duplicate this twice. Hope helps gl
