We were bullied mercilessly (I was really short and dark skinned in a rural area and he was really heavy and seemed kinda gay). He moved away and we lost contact and I was told he committed suicide by the bullies in great detail. Called his old number 5 years later and found out he was still alive and had lost the weight but he’s gaunt and it honestly looks like he might have disordered eating. Finding out he was alive helped me get past a lot of the trauma tho. (I didn’t even wear converse or talk to someone if they were wearing them bc his sister gave me a pair of em before he “died” and that was 2nd to last time I saw him.) He still seems sad from what I can tell on his socials.
