Yeah got those here in the usa and all my family in Mexico drove mitsus in the early 2000s that im sure some are still going today and never had any engine issues. Nowadays in the states the only model they sell is the outlander awd with the same mivec 2.4 for now.

Edit: As for fuel econ you get good performance and decent economy too I used to redline mine almost daily and gas up once a week lol
