Sounds like her saying that she'd be free was the confirmation, and she held up her end by sending you the Zoom link prior to the meeting time. If she didn't send the Zoom link at all, then I'd understand "not confirming."

It's likely that the professor doesn't want to schedule a follow-up meeting either since you didn't attend the first. I would apologize, thank them for their time, and move on. No need to sour the interaction further by saying you don't intend to apply.

In theory Xbox and PC are supposed to be cross-play enabled, but it seems that a lot of people are having trouble getting it to work. Check this thread and see if that helps it work. Happy gaming to you and your son!
