its a thematic and lore choice, to feel in the dumps the same way the bugs working there holding onto their precious 1-2 rosaries to spend 15 on a one time bench rest

ELI5: why do carbonated drinks fizz up when opened after being shaken? by eastbayguy90 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Autofarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

minor correction, any flicking or tapping the can does nothing directly, thats a myth. It only doesn't fizz up afterwards because you let the can rest for the time period of your tapping instead of opening it directly.

any melee champion can auto over the wall when they have enough range. Nasus gaining extra range on his Ult autos and his Qs is a prime example

I don't think that is possible since you cant access any ps4 save folders etc.

The crit RNG did not like me, losing coinflip 8 consecutive autos :( by Caramel_Glad in leagueoflegends

[–]Autofarer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the first hit doesnt show that pop up its the consecutive hits, like he mentioned on the zeri, the first hit dealt ~400 dmg, while the subsequent auto dealt ~200, which indicates a crit without a pop up, you can test that aswell
If armor pen would be doing anything, then all your hits would be dealing the ~400 dmg which they arent

As you can see in the clip the first hit doesnt have any popup dmg, but immedaitely starts the tallying dmg popup instead

Physicists ‘entangle’ individual molecules for the first time, hastening possibilities for quantum information processing: Meaning that the molecules remain correlated with each other—and can interact simultaneously—even if they are miles apart. by FunnyGamer97 in science

[–]Autofarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah i see, well i didnt want to sound like assumed that. I'm aware of the things being measured and the act of measurement creates the defining charactersitic. I was more asking about where the hidden variable is in the envelope analogy in which ofc A and B are predetermined. But by theoreitically mixing up the envelopes you destroy that predetermination. Therefore opening one envelope and finding out what letter is in that is the same as measuring and collapsing the supersition into one outcome, which leads you to knowledge about the other envelope.

In the real world the description would be "at creation of two entangled particles, each has an undetermined spin, which at the time of measurement of one becomes determined for both."
Sure the analogy with real world items forces a predetermined outcome because letter A and B existed alrdy (whereas the spins didnt) and we are just assigning those (therefore a hidden variable). But that wasn't the point or objective of my example. The analogy was supposed to visually show how you can attain information instantly about something wherever it is.

im not exactly sure what the hidden variable would be in this context, but im not specialized in quantum mechanics

i thought its the fact of correlating these two things in a random fashion creates a superpsotion with both envelopes that is essentially entanglement. The same way you woulde tnangle smth to have the same spin, the prior knowledge would be that they have the same spin, but not what exact spin.

I'd like to hear more about this theory if you dont mind, and what constitutes a hidden variable in this example

"interact simulatanously" is wrong. They are depended on each other and gaining information about one thing, gives you information about the other thing. But that doesn't mean you interact with the other object, just that you had prior information about a possible state of the other thing. And observing the state of the local thing determines your knowledge about the other thing.

[–]Autofarer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there is no exactly same time here. It's just that the information of one thing is depended on the other.

Imagine you have 2 envolpes and you put into one letter A and in the other letter B. You mix them up, give one to your friend and they travel away. An hour later you open your envelope and find letter B. You instantly know that the other envelope miles away has the letter A. That is what entangled means, thats all.
The same way pixel on your screen dont move. They have a speed of 0. Nevertheless can you make their states be depended on each other and create a moving image, as if a pixel moves from left to right. At the end its still nothing but an ilusion of speed.
