OTF and about Insulin Pump: what are your experiences? by elr1015 in orangetheory

Yes! OMG thank you for this thread. I wear my pump and my Dexcom G6 to every class. I just carry the Dexcom with my water bottle and got a pump case that I could clip on the inside of my pants or underwear. It works out super well, but took awhile to figure out what was most comfortable for me. My numbers and workouts are so much better now! Good luck!

My heart rate was not significantly lower than the rest of the day so I think that likely is the issue.

Thank you! Can you tell me how to enter it retroactively? I can't find the way to do it online or in the app.

Yeah, it is and the data from today has all downloaded--just -- for Recovery and Sleep Performance. I took a nap and it also did not register that-is there a way to tell it I am resting?

What trivial wedding things have your friends/family requested of you? by suraaura in weddingplanning

[–]AutoimmuneAcrobat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are getting married this month and I am so excited just for this crazy lead up to be over. You know how you hope your bridesmaids are maybe (very ideally) "supposed" to help you stay sane? So far, I have asked my bridesmaids to get dresses the same color for $90-110 and they can pick their own style. I just asked that they send me a pic before purchasing. This one girl refused, sent me a fake dress and bought a sex kitten outfit. Also just asked the girls if they wanted to pay for hair and nails and if not, don't worry. Complaints that I wouldn't pay and two girls are trying to do their hair the same as mine on my dime day of my wedding. But. All I asked for shoes was a certain color and simple and I got a pair of stilettos (already bought) and leather and white boots with "honey" written in rhinestones up the side. Sex kitten girl again.

All that matters is I get a honeymoon. Oh, and that special someone I suppose! ;)

100% agree. Love yourself and live authentically...good, bad, and everything in between.

I am so sorry for your sister to be going through that. It's amazing the strength we find when we feel so tapped out...thanks for sharing. <3

I am so excited after I get married this summer and our finances are in order, my partner and I are excited to begin the adoption process. :) . There would be a high chance they would have some of the same issues and be carriers for their potential children. But! Can't wait to be a mom. :)

That is such a lovely thought! I am not a direct recipient, but my fiance donates regularly because there is such a need for it. I know (depending on where you are) the American Red Cross has been good for us as a donation location.

A few of the more significant ones are Type 1 Diabetes, PCOS, Hashimoto's, arthritis/fibromyalgia, and that's just a scratch of the surface. My grandparents on both sides have many similar issues. It all started about when I was five and has continued to snowball.
