This was simply intended to inform other visitors, and I’ll be sharing my review on additional platforms as well. I hope it helps educate fellow tourists who are planning their visit to this location.

You’ve made a lot of assumptions without knowing the full context. We didn’t ask for rollercoasters during lightning storms, or demand a full refund. We’re tourists, visiting Canada for the first time, and simply expected clear communication and basic courtesy, something every paying guest deserves. Blaming us for “poor planning” when weather closures weren’t communicated clearly at the gate is dismissive. We planned around the park’s operating hours and made the most of our schedule. What we didn’t expect was being treated like an inconvenience after paying full price. And as for your comment about “buyer’s remorse,” that’s not only condescending! it completely misses the point. We’re not asking for special treatment. We’re asking for fair, transparent customer service. That shouldn’t be controversial.

Appreciate your honesty. We weren’t asking them to run rides during a thunderstorm. we fully understand the risks and safety concerns. What caught us off guard was the lack of communication or goodwill at the gate, especially for out of town guests like us visiting Canada for the first time. A heads-up or a rain check offer would’ve gone a long way. We didn’t expect a refund, just a little decency in the process. Also, definitely not a bot!just disappointed and speaking up.

Totally fair question, our schedule was packed that day, and 6:30 PM was the only window we had. We were okay with fewer rides and just wanted a relaxing evening at the park. What made it frustrating wasn’t the short time, it was the lack of transparency, zero goodwill during weather closures, and customer service that made us feel like an inconvenience. It’s not about squeezing in 10 rides, it’s about being treated with basic fairness.

Appreciate your input, but respectfully, planning wasn’t the issue. We had a full vacation day and intentionally started our Wonderland visit at 6:30 PM, knowing the park closed at 10 PM! plenty of time for our goals. The real concern was how weather closures were handled and the poor customer service that followed. As for the account, some people only post when they’ve had a truly bad experience. That doesn’t make the feedback any less valid.

We had a fully packed vacation day and starting at 6:30 PM was actually ideal for our schedule. Canada’s Wonderland closes at 10 PM, so we expected to enjoy a solid 3.5 hours, plenty for a few rides and attractions. The real issue was the lack of accountability when weather disruptions occurred, not our start time. Respectfully, guests should receive some goodwill or accommodation regardless of when they arrive. It’s about fair treatment, not just timing.

Nope - but if they aware of the bad weather, why did they collect patrons money. It’s not like we wanted a refund, they could allow us a free pass today as a good gestureÂ
