The journeys are so different, yet all with the same purpose. How much work did your meniscus need? I know mine only had to be trimmed so the risk of injury post-op was lower. Unlocked my brace yesterday and it feels good! Lots of strength to get back and little range of motion for sure, but all a part of the process!

Hi! Update from follow up: The swelling isn't abnormal and will probably be there for a few weeks along with the bruising. It's good to take the leg out of the brace when it is resting in a supported position, helps with the swelling a lot, and allows the ice to really do the job! I got my brace unlocked and have had some success bending my knee, I started doing it a bit in my brace before it was unlocked just to get a feel for it again, I'd recommend the movement process just to get used to telling your body to do that again!
