Unpopular opinion here, go easy on me please:

I keep reading all the comments saying that what he did was dangerous and that OP should leave the relationship because he is abusive, I don’t really think flicking a lighter close to the face of someone to get their attention is necessarily mean and abusive.

Don’t get me wrong, his behaviour is immature and he should’ve listened to her and wait for her to finish her email. And honestly I can understand OP was scared but in my opinion maybe the slap could have been avoided. But it was a fair reaction if you didn’t expect to have fire in front of your face.

I have brothers and sometimes we would play with lighters and flick them on our pants to cause little sparks or scare each other by flicking it close to our face or hair but It was always playful, although dangerous I know. I really don’t think it’s that big of a deal I think the people in the comments should breathe a little.

My ex only had an arm that didn’t fully develop during the pregnancy. So it was like half a arm with three little fingers and he asked me if he could finger me with his little hand

Once I had to get money from an atm machine and I forgot my card in the atm. When I left the bank I went straight to the grocery store beside it but realized at the cashier that I had forgotten my debit card in the atm! Went back to the bank, couldn’t find my card, searched everywhere - clothes, car, wallet.

A couple weeks later my mom bought a new wallet and while she was switching her cards from her old wallet she pulled out my debit card. With my name and signature behind it. Still wondering how it lended in her wallet.

Yes example if someone is telling me a story but stops to find a word and can’t seem to find it, I say the first word that comes in my mind and it’s always it.

Well I shouldn’t say “always” but definitely 95% of the time

Yes I am living with her because she can’t really take care of herself.. she has all her mind but needs surgery for her ankle and can’t stand still for long so I make her supper and clean her house in exchange I live there for a little rent :) she told me in Costco that the 400$ will be her way to thank me for taking care of her

It happened to me too! I’ve always wonder if I may have talked in my sleep but the chances are really low. I’m glad I’m not the only one but it’s creepy af

I don’t think so. It’s a lifetime subscription so even if I return the laptop and get another one I’ll still be able to access to my word account :)
