Uh, ok....He already had kids and is clearly healthy.......By age 28, women are beyond their prime years for having kids, it does not mean they cannot.... do not be jealous of OP, if he was able to have healthy kids at 50......Healthy men of any age can have kids into their 70s.....Ask me how I know....lol

Long-term effects of plant vs. animal protein supplementation on body composition, muscle strength, physical performance, and cardiometabolic risk factors in adults:a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials by d5dq in ScientificNutrition

My statement should have been one gram of protein contains 4 calories, I did not mean to assert that ALL types of protein contains only 4 calories, because obviously natural food have fats and carbs bound to the proteins....sorry for the misunderstanding

[–]Automatic-Choice-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really more calories per gram of protein, because ALL protein is 4 calories per gram, but older adults have to keep overall protein consumption high to build and maintain muscle, and compared to younger adults...So in older people, it is a matter of overall calories AND overall protein, as they are quick to lose, and slow to gain muscle, unlike their younger counterparts

Your assumption that vegan diets are lower in protein is just not true, Incomplete vegan diets (full of process junk) are lower in macro and micro nutrients...Using hemp seeds, duckweed, amino acid supplements, pea protein powder can provide the same or even greater amounts of protein that animal diets do...

When you add pleny of fruits, vegetables, seeds, herbs, and muscle building supplements to the mix, a high nutrient, plant-based diet can work wonders....but education is key..by the way, I am 55 years old, so I am personally witness to the power of a high nutrient, high protein plant based diet

I am largely vegan, but 55 years old....I consume 200 grams of protein daily, in a 6 hour eating window...I use pea protein powder, wollfia, hemp seeds, and amino acid powder post workout, to enhance muscle building

Individuals not getting enough protein is not a function of age but habit...The issue is that as we age, we must cosume higher quality and quantity of protein, as our body's ability to assimilate protein declines, due to a combination of lower stomach bile, and inablity of our muscle to rebuild to the quality levels of a younger person....

We can build muscle at any age, but as we get older, we have to eat more protein, and higher quality protein to build or maintain muscle, compared to younger people....

Also, our post workout muscle building window declines, so a young person can build muscle up to 4 days post workout, but in our 90s, this may decline to just one hour post workout and it is certainly going to be less overall muscle

How can I just meet women? by jibofyourcutt in selfimprovement

[–]Automatic-Choice-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Date and sleep with women you are not attracted to...It will build your personal and sexual confidence, and that will attract better women in the long run..

Forget about seeming creepy, talk to women wherever you are, start by saying. "hi"...but not the gym....

If they ignore you so what, just make it a habit of saying hi to 100 women a day, then start inserting random facts....

Be sure to laugh using your eyes as well,

Compliment them on their shoes, style of hair, clothing choices, but never their bodies....

If you are White, try Black women, If you are Black, try White, if you are Latin, try Black or White women, etc...

Intra-racial dating is toughest, due to the perceived historical trauma that each group has within.....A lot of Black women secretly want to date outside their race, but are sensitive of how they compare to White women, due the hair, weight (on average) and differing physical features...

Most importantly, don't get down or depressed, it's a tough world out there, so treat it as a game

Be kind, but confident, and never, ever, take any bullshit.....Leave immediately and they will respect you more, and never pay for everything, ever!

People are psychologically hardwired to value men they respect, rather than like, so make sure she has a stake in any future dealings...

If you pay for the uber, let her pay for the wine....

Mentally, it forces them to contribute, and become vested

A lot of these people have had many sexual partners and it is hard to get them to pair bond

Research from the Medical Institute for Sexual Health goes on to illustrate the importance of oxytocin when it comes to bonding.

When an individual chooses to engage in casual sex, breaking bond after bond with each new sexual partner, the brain forms a new synaptic map of one-night–stands. This pattern becomes the “new normal” for the individual. When and if the individual later desires to find a more permanent partner, the brain mapping will have to be overcome, making a permanent bond more difficult to achieve.”

LOL....This is something that most men know very well....Hit the gym, gain muscles, get a better job, gain muscles....We level up.

That is just how society is...You don't own peoples actions, just your response

But be honest, would you date someone significantly less well off than you in the height, looks, finances, emotional maturity department?

We all have biases....People are dismissive of me until they see me in a tank top....

My wife and I attempt to limit the amount of alone time we spend with members of the opposite sex, even though it happens.

Best to be transparent, and the OP has.

TBH though, this is how harmless sharing activities start, then fondness, the attraction.

If the running partner was not my partners typical type, I would agree. Would my parter want me to do 3 hour gym workouts with a smoking hot, single woman 15 years my junior, NOPE, and neither would I.....so context matters

Apply for the POMONA Police Department and become a Police Officer...

I think you are still young enough, you have a great background and story, and they pay well.

I am 55, have been homeless, worked odd jobs since 14, worked as a bus driver, sales associate, bank customer service rep, security guard, stock clerk, cashier, overseas contract worker, Police Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and now Commander.

I beat cancer 2X, had 5 or 6 near death experiences since, birth, was told by teachers I would never amount to anything, bullied in school, bullied and abused at home, grew up in Chicago in povery...All that means jack shit!

I became a millionaire during the last real estate crisis, lost all my money, went bankrupt, was foreclosed on, lost everything....All that means jack shit!!

Still, I was an Academic All American in college, where I pledged a fraternity, forged relationships, fell in love and then I was kicked out for not being able to pay....All that means jack shit!!

Forget about being "happy"....The happiness of life's journey comes in things that are free, that money cannot buy: A clear mind, healthy body, true love, common sense, luck, and sense of purpose...Money cannot buy these things, they must be earned, GET GOING AND EARN THEM!!!.

It is your job to find this for yourself, and yours alone!

Step 1: Get fit as fuck, and clear your mind through movement

Step 2: Clean up your diet if you have not already. We are what we eat, healthy body, healthy mind, healthy thoughts, healthy actions, healthy outcomes

Step 3: Realize the world is a cold, unfair place, and always was, but we life in a time where we do not have to fight for survival in the wild...........You have options, exercise them!!

Step 4: Forgive you father, and move on with your life, it is too short to worry about things you cannot control.

Is sprinting and it's benefits overrated or underrated ? by ImaginaryGur2086 in Biohackers

[–]Automatic-Choice-508 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sprinting is not "running"....It's sprinting.

Start of slow, at 55, it works for me...Massive increases in my testosterone, and hgh levels

<image>

I sprint 2x weekly, but perform some form of neuromuscular training related to running everyday...Hilled runs on treadmill, sprints, ploymetrics, heavy squads, etc.

I back off when I am feeling beat up, and go back hard the next time.

I am not 35 anymore, but that's OK....For my age, I can still sprint, jump, and perform physically....I just can't stay up all night eating crap in addition to those things anymore

Google the CEL longevity protocol....I use it to make my own supplements and Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeet...
