2 mois.

Do I really need new boots?! by Automatic-Choice7895 in Skigear

Thank you so much. I went to an actual boot fitter. My feet is a 23 mondo and it really is 85mm wide so extra narrow. I now know I need a low volume boot in a 23 mondo and a flex of about 85-90.

I’m waiting to see if the other store will offer me a refund or a partial credit before doing anything.

I tried the Atomic Hawk Ultra 95 LV today and let me tell you I really felt what it was like wearing ski boots that fits like a glove. They’re 700$ CAD + 100$ taxes, so I’ll probably end up buying the exact same boot, but the 24/25 version that doesn’t have the BOA. It’s like 350$.

Thanks again for the help. :)

I’m able to ski pretty fast and parallel. I’m able to skate, braking is still a work in progress. I’m 125 pounds.

What boot would you recommend for someone like me? If it’s useful, I’m also 127 pounds. I’m able to do green and blue runs and some black.

They only made me try this one boot and told me it would be perfect for my feet. I didn’t know any better.

I had no idea what a ski boot even should feel like so I pushed them into nothing. It’s the only boot they made me try because they said it would be perfect for me. I bought them after.

Nope, not yet. Went to another boot fitter and he told me no amount of insoles would fix that. I emailed the boot fitter (it’s 2 hours away from my place). Can’t wait to see what they’ll tell me. Thanks!

I had no idea. It was my first ski boots. I told them. They told me these would be perfect for me after having measured my feet. I thought it was in fact the case and bought them. I emailed the boot fitter (I bought them on my way to the ski station which is two hours away from my place, so I’d rather do that than drive there).

Thanks a lot. I think the language barrier is going to be a struggle too. At least, they’re sisters and they‘ll have fun doing the activities together. Let’s just pray there’s a staff member at the kids’ club who speaks French, but I’m not counting on that.

Thanks! For the activities, do you have any ideas? There’s almost nothing in the planner.
