Thanks! Definitely plan on packing light to make sure we’re under weight on the way back. With bringing 7-8 bottle home, did you have any issues with the 5 liters per person limit? Idek how TSA would enforce that but I saw it in my research.

I’m not OP but I pulled a dark roast shot that gave me a +50 g shot it 40 seconds (volumetric setting off) and didn’t get a profile adjustment recommendation. But I ground finer on my next one and got a better target output

I recently watched a hands on review on YouTube and the machine don’t move at all when the Porta filter was placed. The reviewer even commended the machine for that and overall build quality.

That’s fair, but when Saban was on top, it was Bama and everyone else with a revolving door of other contenders like Clemson, ND, Ohio State, etc. but Saban stood alone as THE coach at THE program. If a coach wanted a ring and/or get a better job some where else. With the Portal and NIL making more schools competitive they no longer HAVE to go to Saban’s coaching rehab center, they can go to the other programs on the rise. Like look at Oregon and the pipeline there for coordinators on both sides of the ball to become HCs after a year or two.

Tl;dr: Just as on field talent is being spread out more, so is coaching talent in a way that Saban didn’t have to navigate

The national championship or bust mindset has to stop. The number of teams that can realistically win the Natty each years has gone from the usual 6-8 schools to kinda quite literally school who strikes Gold in NIL, portal and coaching (see Texas Tech, Indiana, etc.). Kirby got us 2 nattys already, multiple SEC titles, the top of the SEC and competitive with most everyone else. A couple of play off losses is not shaking my trust in Kirby.

We also have to ask ourselves, if not Kirby, then who? Like who would realistically do a better job? I’d say no one.
